I wish Trump was even just 10% of what democrats accuse him. The $230 million he is demanding from the U.S. Justice Department for its investigation and attempted prosecution of him. Never mind the conflict of interest inherent in a U.S. president making such a demand of a department under his control.
We live on 10 acres. This is about 2 acres or about 20% of our property. I usually like to hop into the truck to get around the property cause I am lazy. Do not care really, but man that is A LOT of ballroom. Likely servers will need to pass a fitness test beyond that which is failing 30% of the ICE applicants.
If Obama or Biden had constructed a $350 million ballroom, the right-wingers would have been in an absolute uproar.
I am disgusted by this Ballroom, Tim Cook presenting Trump with that trinket and contributing to this abomination questions my loyalty to their products.

Maybe the White House is long overdue for a ballroom, and maybe the cost is fair, BUT the optics of using private donors to fund it just stinks of bribery and grift.

So he claims. There was no competitive bidding process either, so this was yet another way for private donors to buy favor with the White House. The timing is horrible too, given the state of the economy. It's no surprise polls show a majority of Americans disapproves.

In the military we say “salute the rank not the individual.” This not dissimilar… Apple is investing in a national landmark and the home of democracy. Apple is supporting the growth of that home, not the man current residing in it.
Far too many myopic comments in a future focused tech blog. Maybe focus on finding and supporting the individual that will replace him in three years instead of flipping out over building renovations, like THAT is the greatest threat today.
