Okay two things here. One Apple-related, another not.

1. As much as I want to be angry at Apple, every other mega conglomerate is bending the knee to avoid prosecution here.

2. I hope the next Democrat bulldozes this ridiculous ballroom. This is house is supposed to be for The People.
Same question. Is your side the only people?

No, “the people” is everyone, and typically politicians would understand when they got elected by the skin of their teeth with less than 50% of the votes and act accordingly. Not to mention that his approval currently stands at < 40%.
But here’s the thing. He was elected by the people. Popular vote doesn’t matter. See Bill Clinton. That’s not how we elect a president. You don’t like that result, fine, but he was elected by the people and approval ratings don’t amount to a hill of beans. If it did, Congress would be an empty building.

Sure, but being elected president shouldn't mean doing whatever you want. Congress should have some say before you demolish the East Wing of the White House and replace it with a palace ballroom that dwarfs the entire house. Just like they did in previous major renovations. He also lied to The People about the scope of the project right up until he began demolition.

At this point it's whatever. Let them live in a delusional echo chamber until a Democrat wins and prosecutes the hell out of these criminals, dismantles the police state they've set up, and bulldozes stupid things like a $300 million ballroom.

I get you’re upset. There’s nothing he can do that will make you happy other than retire. Just because you don’t like what’s being done, doesn’t mean only your position matters. This project has been talked about for decades. He’s finally getting it done. Bravo to him for doing it with donations.

"It" what? Filling his pockets. Nothing else. We're talking about the guy who managed to run CASINOS into the ground! Where the business model is "people visit, bring money, and leave with less money because now you have it".
A convicted rapist. Convicted of 34 felonies! Also, very obviously, a Russki asset.

Atlantic City and Reservation Gaming ran casinos into the ground.

If Obama or Biden had constructed a $350 million ballroom, the right-wingers would have been in an absolute uproar.

A ballroom isn't political, but many people (on both sides) get into such an emotional tizzy about politicians they don't like that they make things like this political and hate it simply because it's associated with that politician. It's quite sad and hilarious at the same time.

I completely disagree. It's extremely political. Its primary purpose is and will continue to be to allow rich people to curry favor with the president regardless of party. The fact that the president lied about the impact on the east wing and the projected cost until demolition began is political. The fact that the expenditure nor the project were not approved by Congress is political. Overshadowing the people's house with a palace ballroom is political.

meh.....

the next four year revolving door slew of politicians want to tear this down already...and are MAD!
they already announced will hire the Los Antiƒas to demolish this without any excavating equipment, how green!

I personally would like to see HHS: RFK and Leavitt sway to some Strauss
like "the Emperors' waltz" then things are finished there.

Remember this when Apple talks about environmentalism or saving lives. They're bankrolling a ballroom for the guy that hates renewable energy and foreigners.
this is 100% wrong, my friend from Japan just had her visa extend three months ago
been here since 1999 and works, the illegals are getting the boot!
many other deserved visas were extended this year which the media won't publish, sadly.....

also as a cyclist who never drove or uses gasoline, this "renewable energy" is a scam in the USA
too much money is wasted on horrible unclean solutions that harms animal, waterlife and landscapes.
jeez everyone who owns a home in NJ got a 300% (well three times increase) utility bill increase over this scam in August.

Anyways, the ballroom is a much needed revitalization that probably we, my friend, will never see!

If the ballroom is an improvement over the current East Wing, I don't see the point in replacing it again out of spite. The Rose Garden, OTOH, tear that 💩 out and bring back Jackie's roses. Gawd, I'm still salty they paved over the beautiful greenery.🤬🤬🤬

Vote totals and approval ratings don’t matter in the idiotic electoral system we have, but in any democracy they should serve to constrain the actions of elected officials. If a significant majority don’t like a particular action then one should question the wisdom and propriety of that action. That’s the whole point of representative democracy. Unless, that is, one wants to rule as an authoritarian untethered by the popular will, which this asshat clearly and openly does.

Their are more guns and riffles than people in this country... King Donald did not invent hate and violence, he's just taking advantage of the stupidity of locals. Americans hate each other and they just need an order from their kinglet to pull the trigger.
Again, you reap what you sow.
“I, the mighty King Donald, shall be remembered in history as the man who convinced Americans to kill one another. Great monuments shall be built to commemorate the deaths that resulted from my rule.”

Great thing to invest in, Apple!!! If you want Apple stock to go up, maybe don’t invest in physically destroying the United States. This will not end well.
