You don’t like that result, fine, but he was elected by the people and approval ratings don’t amount to a hill of beans. If it did, Congress would be an empty building.No, “the people” is everyone, and typically politicians would understand when they got elected by the skin of their teeth with less than 50% of the votes and act accordingly. Not to mention that his approval currently stands at < 40%.
