Flubber? You expect a stretchable material that never gets larger over time? Do you have a suggestion for such a material? I'm pretty sure it doesn't exist

The updated instructions aren’t fundamentally different. Just more verbose.Well, better late than never I suppose. That said, wonder what the people who were saying, "Apple gave instructions, all you had to do was follow them" have to say now 💅
Wearing one right now. It’s very comfortable. And it has no hardware on the underside to bump into the desk when typing. What is the appeal of this band other than it being harder to size, put on, and take off? Is it really that much more comfortable?
Poor engineering on the part of God, you mean? Because this warning is just pointing out what everyone with a brain knew, based on the universal behavior of stretchable materials. If it was a metal band doing this, it would be poor engineering. In this case, good engineering might help minimize the stretch, but no amount of good engineering would eliminate it entirely. So they'd still have to issue this warning. And there you'd be, carping."may" increase...damage control after poor engineering.
Don't sell something unless it's perfect, you're saying. If it isn’t possible, maybe the product shouldn’t exist.
This will be an issue for most people as their wrist swells and shrinks due to hydration levels, heat, etc. It seems most people should opt for a tighter fit at the beginning. The silicon bands I wear right now, throughout the day I adjust a button or two. I've never really paid attention to it, it may just be one, it will get tight, I'll adjust it out one and then at some point it will feel loose, so I'll adjust it back. I need to start paying attention so I can measure for the solo loop when my wrist is at its smallest.

Not a great start to the solo loop. I’m already put off buying one.
In my opinion, the solo loop is one of apples most disastrous decisions to date.
Stretchy material loosening a bit over time is normal. But it’s Apple so something completely normal becomes poor engineering, bad decision etc. Of course if they made this very clear up front and made it easy to exchange for a different size this would be a non-story.Don't sell something unless it's perfect, you're saying.
Nonsense.
Why would anybody want this band anyways?

Because it feels incredible, like an extension of your body, if you get the sizing down (in my case had to go down 2 sizes).
Had it for 3 days now, wouldn't have it any other way.
It's that much better than the old bands?
