...If you have nothing nice to say please don't say anything at all.
You didn't have anything nice to say about the employee, but you started a thread anyway.

I think you should learn proper english before calling someone stupid.....
it is..."could not care less" not.... "could care less" hahaha
You didn't have anything nice to say about the employee, but you started a thread anyway.![]()
I should post a picture of my scratch on the back glass...
i'm not going to try to insult you or say anything because you are a huge member on this site and i'm sure you do a lot of good around here, but come on man, give me a break lol
It's not impossible to scratch BUT it's extremely hard. I have owned every iPhone and in 3 years I have never scratched the screen. The iPhone 4 has gorilla glass which is extremely hard to scratch. A screen protector would be easier to scratch than the actual screen. The only reason they sell screen protector is because some people can't take care of a smart phone and a lot of people don't know any better so their is still a market for the companies to make money.
A screen protector isn't going to do anything if you drop the phone.
We didn't put a screen protector in the iPad because they said they weren't necessary. . . and I don't think they're necessary on the iphone beyond the 3GS.
I have one on the 3g and also notice a lot of insensitivity of the touch screen so I haven't put one on the 4. But they're also different screens.
I'm on the internet, not in English class, therefore... I could care less. Seriously I don't get why people have the nerve to reply pointless things that have nothing to do with the topic. I appreciate you trying to teach me something and stick up for this employee, but seriously... who cares? Why don't you also go through every thread and correct people when they say good, rather than well.
I was just picking up a bumper at the apple store and asked the employee what they had for iphone screen protectors. The guy goes "its impossible to scratch the screen for the iphone, we don't sell them because you cant scratch it, therefore they are not necessary."
Now I wasnt really pissed at apple for not selling them because I understand they're backing up the glass which is supposed to be hard to scratch. But for the guy to tell me that you are unable to scratch it and with all the screen protectors out for the phone I think it was rather dumb he told me that. What do you guys think?
west farms mall in east hartford apple store. they had a bunch of black and blue ones
I love the chart! They were just trying to keep you from looking stupid in the future when you say you "could care less" again. I'll offer further assistance:
Yes, a screen protector can do something if you drop the phone. You drop a phone and theres a small pebble or some sand or anything that hits the screen and scratches it. A screen protector can stop those little things from scratching the screen while a case would just protect the phone. Even wrapsol is now saying that their screen protectors protect your phone from drops. So yes, it can help if you drop the phone.
A lot of Apple employees don't know what the h*ll they are talking about most of the time. The greater majority of them aren't more computer literate than regulars on this forum.
dude really. honestly i could really care less, half the time i dont really even like screen protectors. but i'm just saying the guy was an idiot. wasnt completely set on purchasing just wanted to know what they had.

... my spelling and grammar were pretty disgraceful as a kid - school had done nothing for me in that regard. What did help? Being a frequent poster on various techy forums and having my posts roundly laughed at for several months. Honestly - the change was miraculous, my English teacher asked what drugs I had taken when I started handing in essays with the words spelled correctly for a change.
Kids need motivation, what motivation do they have to learn how to read or write (or do anything useful) when they are effectively above criticism from their parents and their school? Luckily the internet is a place where you can insult anyone, even kids - and boy does it get the job done a lot faster than sugar coating ever could.
