I have to agree. It used to be flawless. I remember when Android had the faulty implementation and iOS was the one that was right. While I wasn't a fan of the skeuomorphism Forstall didn't have as many bugs. I really wish they would skip a year or even 6 months and just push to iron it all out. Come back strong.

Yup. Jon Ive is in charge of software now, and he was never a trained engineer. He was trained as a designer.

What? No, he isn't, he never was. He is in charge of the overall software design, he has nothing to do with software engineering. Federighi has taken over from Forstall, he is in charge of the software engineering for iOS, OS X and other platforms.

Considering that the design for copy/paste has not changed for a very long time and this problem started long before iOS 7 redesign, Ive isn't at fault here. It's either Forstall or Federighi.

Hi

In ios 9 I have noticed three real issues with copy & paste, that weren't issues before.

I really hope apple can fix this on 9.2

1/ much harder / impossible to copy some text, say in safari.

2/ on pasteing say in notes the cursor moves usually upwards and I'm pasteing in the wrong place

3/ copy some text and paste brings up _old text_ that had been copied on a previous occasion!

I use copy & paste a lot so this is a real issue for me.

I presume its a bug, as I have been with iphones for eight years.

Cheers

ps
I have had the misfortune to use (own) a Nexus 7 and the 'new' iOS 9 reminds me of how bad andriod is/was, so a real step backwards apple on copy & paste. Please address issue.
