More ostentatious prattling by Cook & Co. More asininely expensive products.
Can't wait![]()
Except the '57 Bel Air to the '58 was a disaster.(although the '58 was in "American Grafitti" as Richie Cunninghams's(not the right name-forgot the actor's name momentarily)). :0I'm interested in seeing just how far off the guesses were this time. I suspect another massacre like with the WWDC. I also suspect another ho-hum year of incremental, overpriced updates with features I don't need. Basically they will polish the old paint jobs and tell us how wonderful these slightly different new models are. That is the American way, slightly change the taillights and call it a whole new design!![]()
Because of ongoing supply/manufacturing/chip shortages/etc I'm assuming everything announced on Tuesday will be at least 10,000 percent more expensive vs. last year (because it's Apple), and there will be unmitigated OUTRAAAAAAAAGE. Can't wait.
Still not leaving the house bc of Delta sooooo.....no need for a bazillion dollar 1 petabyte iPhone Pro LIDAR AR REDUCED NOTCH GigaMax X Ten Edition until at least another year or so.
Ya think????I'm not a cryptographer but I can clearly see in the invite that 9 stands for september and the 14 is the fourteenth of september. Expect some new products from Apple on september the 14th guys

Do you mean Wifi 6E? The iPhone 11 & 12 have Wifi 6...Noticed all the talk about Wifi 6 stopped a few weeks ago so guess that got cut from the 13.
Better question is which combo will be most scarce (IE model/color/capacity)Because of ongoing supply/manufacturing/chip shortages/etc I'm assuming everything announced on Tuesday will be at least 10,000 percent more expensive vs. last year (because it's Apple), and there will be unmitigated OUTRAAAAAAAAGE. Maybe September 28 or in October. I'm a potential buyer of the new iPad mini, it would be my first ever iPad after having owned iPhones since 2009.No iPad mini 6 ?!?!
#5. Talks to outer space.Has anybody done a Deep Dive into what Qualcomm 5G chip is expected (& its benefits), as well as whether expecting support for W-Fi 6E is realistic ?
To me, the most-important upcoming features (this year OR next) are (in order of importance / value):
1.) TouchID under Glass,
2.) Wi-Fi 6E support (rare, true Game Changer potential here),
3.) Latest Gen Qualcomm 5G chip (higher-performance AND better power efficiency).
Only #1 will get me to absolutely upgrade to an iPhone 12s/13.
#2 will probably convince me to do so (over time, as the Wi-Fi 6E Applications become prevalent).
The "measured" / real world benefits of #3 should be known within one month of Release, so by end of Oct.
Here in the States, just like with the iPhone 12 family, the cellular carriers will drive adoption.
BTW, while they haven't gotten much Air Time, I really like the descriptions of the three new Photo Filters that are coming with either the iPhone 12s/13 family AND/OR iOS 15.
They could be, IMO, the talk of the show on the 14th !
That is, if whoever presents them (Tim, Phil, ?) does a good-enough job.
I am always amazed by people who take the effort to type hyperbole like this. I could never in a million years go to such an extent.
It was. It was verified. Certified good photo from iPhone 13 pro maxI wonder if the photo used on the invite was “Shot On iPhone 13?” 🤔
My guess is that there won't be price "increase," but more like no price "decrease" like usual.Because of ongoing supply/manufacturing/chip shortages/etc I'm assuming everything announced on Tuesday will be at least 10,000 percent more expensive vs. last year (because it's Apple), and there will be unmitigated OUTRAAAAAAAAGE. Can't wait.

Err, it's already been discussed ad nauseum in various threads. Apple was simply waiting for LTPO panels to be in volume (started by the Galaxy S21). Prior to that, various high refresh rate panels on Android are not variable and inefficient. Even Samsung set the S20 to 60Hz by default instead of 120Hz. The cheaper Androids are using IPS LCD high refresh rate panels, not OLED, and they are cheaper and lower quality (ghosting is the biggest problem on these Android). They should. But they won’t. 120 should have been on the iPhone years ago like so many android competitors. Need selling points for the mini 6 after all.
