Apple event date Visualized:

if the invites dont go out untill the first week of october i will be pissed... i want iOS 5 and iPod touch 5g already :mad:
 
is it safe to assume than when iOS 5 gm does come out its okay to put on any iOS device and wont have to worry about updating it again when its officially released to the public?

Thank you for SHOWING me that a week after invites are sent out the product will be unveiled. I can't think of a better way that someone might understand this crazy concept without the use of a visual aid...







Wow...seriously people? Is it that hard to understand that you had to make a visual? I swear this world gets less intelligent by the nanosecond.
 
Perhaps the invites will be sent out on the 19th, which would be an exactly a week before the event/unveil rather than the 15th? What u think?

I guess that Apple said that the major product transition would have a material impact on the quarter before it ends on the 24th, meaning that every iPhone 5 they are manufacturing and bulk stacking waiting to load iOS 5 on costs quite a bit of money, so it is affecting the quarter materially.

Apple generally doesn't do events on a Monday though.
