How about if its about the environment and not money if you need a wall charger you can pick one up for free at an Apple store for the first three months.

Let me know how that works out for you....

Oh wait it is about money......
Of course money is part of it.

If you hadn't noticed, Apple's a pretty big public corporation with lots of shareholders - likely you and me and anyone with mutual funds in our retirement accounts.

Apple's not your friend. They don't care about you. They care about providing profits to their shareholders.

So yes, any move like this, even where there's an environmental benefit they can tout in their marketing and brand image, will have a cost-impact component to it.

This is basic business 101 stuff. I don't know why folks act surprised or like it's some big conspiracy.

Just not interested in the mini for $699. Was hoping for something updated from the SE with a lower price. Can you buy the SE and if it doesn't work in your building return it? Because our SEs (3 years old) lose battery switching from a cement building wifi calling on Verizon to LTE like nobody's business (80% to 10% in about 20 minutes).

Was planning on getting the 12 mini until it came out that it was going be released in November. Was all set on likely just going with a 128GB 12 non pro but the price difference between it and the equivalent Pro is only $100 so I think I will be pre-ordering a 12 Pro, just have to decide on which color.
