Finally 128GB RAM on MBP!!! Looks like it's finally time to upgrade my late-2020 M1 yesss

M3 14” would be sufficient for me if can get for 13” mbp price please
The 13" MBP is priced the way it is because it's using an old body design and few people want the Touch Bar, so Apple had to discount it to move inventory.

LLM power users will be disappointed with the 128gb limit on M3 Max. They’ll stick with the M2 Ultra which offers 192gb. Hope M3 Ultra is around the corner.

They are targeting Intel machines as they know M1 is so powerful for most people would never need the increase in performance they offer. You’d need a new laptop before ever reaching a point where processing power was limiting factor.

I’d rather have a new battery tech, new screen tech, new design and connectivity. Increases in performance are a given at this point with ARM.

you have an app called Vivid that can make screen brighter so thats just software thing, they can made the m1 MacBook Pro brighter with a. firmware upgrade, thats fake marketing, I can use my display with the app at full 1600nits

and the M3 chip is 50% FAHHHHHster than the M1.

that is not good for coders who now must get that landing page finished in half the time
now...

I am somewhat close to turning this off. I figured it wasn't going to be for me (I already have the M1 Mac Air, and it's something I don't need to upgrade for a few years) but I was hoping they might do more than the Mac and maybe even talk about Airpods. This might be too "tech" heavy for Prime Time. It also reminds me of Job's ability to simplify technology for the masses, something this event is not doing.
