The problem I have with the iPad Pro is, even if it is 100x times faster than the 2018 12.9 iPad Pro, what are you going to do with all that power?
Yeah I realized I'm not an iPad Pro customer. I'm not a professional videographer, film maker, photographer nor artist.

And I'm over pretending that I am. lol.

I don't see the logic here. In what way is it a bloody shame that the Air, Mini, entry-level MacBook Pro all blow their Intel equivalents clean out of the water? And that the new iPads share the same chip?

This is like winning the the grand prize on a scratch ticket, then crying about the mess it made on your desk.
It’s not about speed. The speed is fine. For me, it’s more than Apple are seemingly heading towards a “one computer, multiple designs” model.

Need 10Gbe? Multiple external monitors? Any ports other than Thunderbolt/USB-C? No dice. Of course it’s too early to say but I’ll be surprised if the new iMacs support more than 16GB memory.

That’s my logic and hopefully you’re able to understand if even if you don’t agree. They’re great machines, but not for everybody.

Of course I could just be being impatient. Who knows what the M1X/M2 architectures will bring. At some point Apple are certainly going to need a more versatile, more capable SoC even if only for the Mac Pro.

10,000 mini LEDs! 1,600 nits!

2,500 dimming zones.

This makes OLED obsolete for the future Pro lineup.

Not really, they just blind you to give you the illusion of black. And 2500 zones is only 25x100 zones, hello blooooooming.

Saying how much more it can do than the old one 20 times doesn’t make it true lol!

This. My biggest issue now is that it is too future proof. Which is something I never thought I'd say.

Well I think they have announced enough to make everyone that wanted something from this event happy.

10K miniLED 12.9" IPad Pro
I like the bigger speakers inside the 24" iMac also.

Anyone remember when the Ipad was a book reader? They haven't really talked about Apple Books that much. I think what would be innovative would be making Apple Books like your own personal library as a subscription. For example, for 99 a year, you can read any book that is available in the Apple Books library, kind of like Apple Music.

They haven't touched Apple Books for years.

Pr0n!

Really, for media work they're become pretty much indispensable.

Apple's computing journey has been trying to make manipulating media more realtime - as fast as you can think it you can see it. That's literally been Apple's baseline performance goal since the original Mac. They've forgotten that occasionally, but it's something that always comes back.

The IPP is literally a "do anything anywhere" box. It's not for you. For people that do stuff that it does, it's tremendous.
