Pretty underwhelming iPhone year. Unless you absolutely need to upgrade or like to burn money I see no reason to bother with this years lineup. None of the announced features are leaps better and for a lot of people I doubt they'll even notice a difference in real world use.

I agree and so did the excitement in the announcements. Just don’t get it. What has happened at Apple? Now you have to have a bunch of different people presenting and not the top execs, who always used too?

After this, I’m going to watch the iPhone 4 event again, and remember the good times when these presentations were interesting.

Same weird softening around the central characters face as well. Especially noticeable around the edges of his cheeks. That was where I noticed this first, and then again on the teacup like you mentioned. That's software effects for you though.

I meant to capture a shot with two faces in it, but was too slow! I see the same issues that portrait photo does, but, it is doing it in video in a way that isn't too bad for casual viewing.
