Yup, before they used to compare the gains vs. previous model. Now they're comparing it against the competitors? This tells me that the CPU & GPU is only marginally better than the iPhone 12.

Probably clocking the chip conservatively to focus on power efficiency and battery. They are already years ahead of anyone else and it’s not like you need tons of performance on a phone.

Focus racking is supposed to slowly transition to guide your eye. This is like that shot in the middle of a movie that goes SURPRISE or quick for a joke. Apple did not study cinematography at all
