That's what I'm hoping. I hate it when Apple differentiates cameras from "normal" and "big" phones.
I switched from X to 12. It’s definitely a pretty nice upgrade.

Yeah, this is an upgrade. The days of leaps in technology and additions to iPhones are pretty much in the past. This is what I expected from this event.

TBH this is the first time that it has truly hit me. We are already at peak Tech .... everything going forward is just adding tiny improvements that hardly any of us will ever use. It's probably been that way for a few years. Nothing about the new iPhone interests me at all.

This is the 1st product event in years I have said no to everything. Cheap year for me, will keep my current iPhone 11, Watch 5 and iPad. Just so underwhelming really. Sure, positives there but too incremental yet again. Seriously, 18 hours still on a watch battery. But yeah, not fussed, money marked for this event is now free money to spend on something else 
There's definitely some Samsung fans here annoyed that all Samsung is offering this year is a folding toy.
Most of us here don't know because we keep falling asleep and missing stuff.
If you haven't understood by now that iPhone's main focus is camera and especially video recording, rather than throwing in a new port or some gimmicks, then you need to g t f o and run to the nearest Samsung store.
Basically for the mini it’s a brighter screen and longer battery. I’m not sure if I’ll upgrade or not from the 12mini to any of these models.

I know no pro-photographers who use their iPhone for work (forget instagram hipsters) and there's 100% no way that these professionals would shoot a JPEG with some computational photography.
now let's look at the video mode - using the camera but on a set with thousands of dollars budget, real actors, lighting and rigs...
The video tripod that the phone was on in that shot cost more than most people cars.

Yes, a kid (rich kid) will buy and use it. And adults will just still film their kids and pets.
No self respecting videographer would use a phone professionally.
I can image the look on my client's faces If I'd show up with a phone on a tripod to shoot their corporate videos. xD

So what percentage of their user-base is indie film makers? Must be a large portion based on this. Sigh.
