I think this update/keynote is a lot more exciting than the iPhone 12 keynote last year.

So, to be clear… both the Pro and Pro Max are identical in every way except size? Both have the same cameras? Both still have sensor shift?

I never realised that's how you pronounced pilates.

Stupid ESL learner me would have pronounced it like pirates.

Don't care about the iPad.

Watch is underwhelming. Depending on price, may stick with my S4 for another year.

Not sure if the 13 PM is enough of an upgrade over the 12 PM to purchase "out of contract". I realize iPhones aren't meant to be upgraded annually anymore, but was hoping to be able to justify it this year.

Meh, kinda disappointed overall.

Sigh, haven't found an exciting iPhone since the X. I do want a better camera so may finally upgrade, but.. my excitement is only for the iPad mini :)

These keynotes are ****ing uncanny. Plays like a Black Mirror episode. Don't know why.
They are contrived rubbish, but less boring than a single standing up describing the products.

The iPhone, (pretty much all models), are great devices with really great utility but to suggest things like you can use one with no ancillaries to shoot movies at a professional level like she implies is pure crap.
You can shoot great movies yes, but you very likely won't be the next Ridley Scott.

There is a reason filmmakers use huge costly cameras, if they could get away instead with using a $1K device to replace each camera on a set, I'm sure they would. Maybe the world is shifting and that in the next ten years we'll be at a level where they are deemed good enough for professional top level film production. Who knows.

Does anyone know if the iPhone 13 Pro gets the 3X optical zoom or is it just the Max?

Edit: Specs page is up now, it's on both. Seem like they mostly have parity this year aside from obvious like battery and display size.
