iPhone Ultra as it’s currently called is the first device in a long time I’ve been anxious for. First shot of real magic we may have seen in some time, depending on what wets your whistle. My expectations on the AI Siri front are low, but even if that flails the device plus third party apps are more than enough to make this thing huge. If Siri is a marked improvement, that will be a bonus.

There that term is again, "Siri AI". I do not think that word means what you think it means.

Wonder how much the iPhone brick will cost.

My prediction... that MacBook Ultra if a reality will be rolled out with much fanfare, all the influencers will tell you awesome is... some people with too much money will buy it... 3 years down the track it will be quietly discontinued.

Looking at the sales numbers in the laptop segment I would say the last thing people want is a touch screen laptop for $6,000.

Don’t buy anything that you don’t absolutely need. Upgrades are minimal at best. Not worth the price.
Yup, it really has gone that way. Phones, Apple Silicon Laptops even the Apple TV are mostly good enough now. Upgrades bring such small performance improvements on day to day tasks even with heavy workloads like video editing and photo retouching.
