I don't think you know what your saying? A4 is the king! was revolutionary compared with other Ax chips, saying that A6 is better..that's like saying iPhone 5 was more revolutionary than iPhone original or iPhone 4

Seems to me you don't like Steve that much, the guy who created this web page..and i don't mean because this is Apple fan site..i mean the web page!

The A4 used a standard licensed ARM Cortex A8 core. The A5 moved to two Cortex A9's. The A6 is more significant IMHO because it is the first SoC with custom cores designed by Apple. It was a huge jump from A5, and even to this day still holds up quite well.

The A4 in the iPhone 4 gave me the worst user experience almost from day one. Not much of an upgrade over the unnamed SoC in the 3GS and pushing 4x the pixels... Two years later, the upgrade to the iPhone 5 was a revelation.

Stupid question... when do you think that they're going 128-bit?

Parts of Apple's chip (and Intel's) are likely already 128 and even 256 bit. No need to change the visible ISA to do those changes to the chip logic.

We would love to see how Apple handles quad core chip if at all they release such type of SOC in future. I am getting bored of dual cores.

The might not... because quad and hex cores are also way too boring. Now when you get over 100 cores... e.g. GPGPU/et.al., that starts getting more interesting.
