Android with it's unsafe store, security holes, and selling personal data? Nope. Not working at all
It’s woking for majority of people.(more android users vs iOS users)
Interestingly biggest security bugs recently were on iOS..

Actually, the pressure is on Samsung. Samsung is giving free TVs as gifts when you order the Galaxies in some markets. Samsung is so pressured that they are actually making competitive products, the Galaxy Mxx series, to compete with the Chinese.
They have the superior and best product, even us iPhone fans are talking about, how are they pressured? it’s Apple’s unimpressive, unjustly priced latest range of iPhones that is putting them under pressure.or maybe you want to ignore all the latest reports and news about poor sales of iPhones, forced price drops, etc?

So Apple wouldn’t market their products unless Samsung released the S10?

Stop trying to make everything Apple does a reaction to something else.
It’sall about timing..
Poor iPhone Xs/Xr/Xs Max sales and forced price cuts are not a secret and all over news.
the pricing of new iPhones were unjust, and they offered no innovation.
the S10 range on the other hand are impressive, everywhere you look you see praise, even on Apple fan websites like here.with many features and better design, better hardware, better cameras, better display for less money, they even include free wireless earbuds for now.
Samsung has the better product, and new iPhones didn’t do good even before Samsungs new product.
of ourse Apple is worried.

More like, lol, you think you know about marketing better than Apple, the most profitable company in the world.

Apple made $60B in profit in 2018. #2 was $23B.

Tell me more about how Apple doesn't know how to market their products.
From a money point of view, Apple is still (but it’s waning rapidly) very successful (at the expense of customers).
From a hard- and software point of view, the ads just reflect their business. Just hollow words with irritating noise.

France, United Kingdom, and Germany. The same countries where Huawei is growing by double digits.

If Apple is serious about their campaign, they need massive billboards, not just a couple of videos.

No, they need handful of "lite" iPhones with chips equal to A9 in performance, starting at 300 euros.

We all know what Huawei is selling like pancakes, and that's not their flagships, but cheap phones like P20 Lite, Mate 20 Lite, Y9...or whatever with inferior hardware, but still more than good enough to open Google Search, Facebook and WhatsApp.

Sounds like you're the one ignoring about Samsung's decline.

So yeah, Samsung is under pressure.
Heck, Samsung is so desperate that they are having a Chinese ODM make a phone and slap Samsung's label on it. And in some markets, Samsung is throwing in a free TV if you buy their phone. If the phone is so good, why would you do such promotions?

Those are so f lame, I can't even. Look at how Huawei "the copy cat" is innovating. Where is Apple's high res cameras, foldable phones, anything. Just lame ads

You do see that the foldable huawei display is pretty badly implemented? I think the technology is just not ready yet in terms of quality. Not sure if it even makes sense. I would rather have a foldable phone from the current sizes and just fold it half size. Not even sure if phones really matter in the future.

The more Apple keeps taunting the “we are private, we are secure unlike the competition”, the more it will hit them when they get their blow.

There is no way Apple is not capitalizing and collecting data from its massive user base.

Either way, in that area, they are still the better product to buy since they for sure do not do it to the extent the competition are doing it.

What waning? Apple just set revenue records in your country, an all time high EPS, and $20B in profit in 90 days (not waning, but flat y/y).

I guess $84B in sales and $20B in profit in 90 days in waning? LOL!! Obviously you’re talking about $88B to $84B in Q1, but The China trouble is well documented and is being addressed. China was an issue for many more companies than Apple. Samsung, Intel, Caterpillar, etc all naked China for lower sales in calendar Q4.

Besides China, Apple did very well and still grew sales y/y in the region.

It's really disappointing that this is what Apple has become. Gone are the funny and memorable ads. Gone are the products worth buying. Now we just have lousy ads pushing ludicrously overpriced products with minor improvements from prior generations.

At this point I'm thinking Apple is going to have to offer a folding 5G iPhone before I upgrade from my 6+.

Really?
Well let me tell you, I had iPhone 6S+ just about a month ago, and now I have XR and is a HUGE difference
I’m thinking, everyone just complains too much this days
