So the M5 MacBook Pro is an "S" upgrade?
With iPhones the S years were the ones with no physical design changes which means M2+ MacBook Pros have been S upgrades, while M3+ MacBook Airs have been S upgrades. But Mac laptops have traditionally never really been talked about in that way.

Bear in mind that with iPhones, the S upgrades were always the best phones to buy because they fixed the 'new design' issues.
