Surely they’ll wait until all the “Back to School” campaigns are finished (UK ends 21st) before they introduce new products?

I get that but usually the wait for the campaign to end and then announce the new productsAs long as the campaign is still active, discounts can still be applied.
I'm in the same position.... I work with my MBP M1 Max plugged into a ultrawide, so it stays docked almost continuously.... The only thing that could push me over the edge would be the GPU upgrades at this point.Even though we're on M5 now, I see no reason to upgrade from my M1 Max MBP. A new design or new screen technology would make me want the new model, but no physical changes other than a chip swap means my 4-year-old laptop is still perfectly good.
If there's no event, then the updates are likely just chip swaps. And that's good, Apple should be updating the chips regularly (more than has been done for the AirPods Max), but if you already have an "M" device, there's probably not much reason to upgrade.
They just launched a new one last year thoughNo mention of iPad Mini?
Same with Apple TV, mine feels laggy and slow already (and its the latest version) The Memory jump from 4 to 8 will help a lotI just want a new Apple TV and an iPad mini with a good display.
Indeed. The recent announcements of Mac lately had been in the end of October like last year, 2023, etc.Surely they’ll wait until all the “Back to School” campaigns are finished (UK ends 21st) before they introduce new products?

It is genuinely infuriating how consumers refuse to support Apple's vision. The Vision Pro could be the start of a new computing era.

Then again, it was a good few years that it got any updates, but it really was a slap in the face to us consumers (much like the upgrade to the AirPods Max, which only really just changed out the lightning port to USB-C finally) with the only real change being an upgrade to the display which eliminated the jelly scrolling problem (which honestly, as someone who has the 6th gen, really can't notice it)

Oh yes definitely - I remember carrying around loads of mini-discs (remember them?) in my bag when I was commuting. It solved so many obvious problems. Like forgetting to pack the right mixtape for a road trip. Ot trying to decide which tapes would fit in hand-baggage.

As a VR enthusiast, an Apple VR enthusiast, or a APPL owner? Can be a combination of all 3.It is genuinely infuriating how consumers refuse to support Apple's vision. The Vision Pro could be the start of a new computing era.
You’d think so but the Apple TV rumour rollercoaster just doesn’t seem to end. I was hoping for a bit more fanfare and something we didn’t expect, but personally I’ll just take a weak press release at this point. I just want an upgradeIf they rebrand the Apple TV+ surly there must be something in terms of Apple TV hardware?

I hope that's a joke. If not, it's not the consumer's responsibility to "support" anything. In any case, except for niche design 3-D visualization applications that benefit from 3-D, I don't see how it would represent an entirely "new computing error" ,until the Vision Pro descendant can completely, 100%, replace a laptop computer. It's conceptually too clunky for a casual display, but would work fine as an alternative to an even clunkier laptop. It is genuinely infuriating how consumers refuse to support Apple's vision. You're acting like showing off online isnt a very common thing.Amongst early adopters that buy the latest Apple products, there are a substantial number whose narcissistic tendencies are satiated by showing off their new iPhone, iPad, MacBook in public.
AVP is relegated to indoor use in one's residence. This prevents buyers from engaging in one of their favorite activities.
