12" Available Now?

Yeah, I called the local Apple Store and asked about availability. They originally said 2 weeks, and then they said call back after one week -- for whatever that's worth.

Thought it was amusing when Jobs was introducing the mouse and keyboards:

We didn't want to rush the keyboard and mouse, we wanted to get them right.

Err, Apple didn't do much, they look exactly the same as the previous models...

Throw in Bluetooth stuff and thats it.

The mouse and keyboard were very underwelming for a "Just more last thing" item.

Actually, the original optical mouse was a "one last thing".

I really thought that is how Americans pronounced Jaguar...!!! -D Canadians certinaly don't...

"Jag-whar" is the cat.

"Jag-you-are" is the overpriced Ford.

"Jagwire" is the operating system.

Hope this cleared it up for everyone.

And the way Steve pronounces "automatically" is actually superior in my opinion...he pronounces the "au" the same as one would pronounce the "au" in "Audi", and also the same war the Germans. Then again, Steve was at one time a heavy LSD user :)

For $138, i'd rather have the cords. At least that way my mouse won't get lost under my papers on my desk or get accidently knocked over in my trash bin.

Does your mouse already get buried under papers, requiring you to fish it out by the cord.

It *doesn't*!?

Then you'll have no problem with a wireless mouse.

I certainly have no problem with it.

Well i finally got one of the computers inmy house to play the keynote. odd, it would not work on my moms g4 or my sister IBM but it worked on my dads old performa 6300, that kinda suked. anyways when i watched it i got outragously excited even though i knew what he was going to anounce. i really liked how te thinnes of the apple 17incher compared to the toshiba and hp. i do wish that the whole keynote was available though.i kind of felt bad for steve when the audience gave him the pity applause but if he would just get a friggin multi button mouse then that would have gone better.i'm just really ecxited about the new 15incher, cant wait t'ill my reseller has them in stock
