Apple appears to have posted the Apple Expo 2003 Keynote Speech in Quicktime.

Apple CEO Steve Jobs delivered the opening Apple Expo keynote address on Tuesday, September 16 from Palais des Congrès in Paris to almost 6,000 hyped-up Mac users.

The video stream appears to start the discussion about the PowerBooks (well into the Keynote). A full transcript was provided live on MacRumors on September 16th.

you have to remember Apple Expo's are generally pretty low-key.

I loved how the crowd went silent when they finally understood that the mouse was only one button. LOL! :D That was really funny! Besides that, it was great to have some RDF pumping one more time! It sure will last until MWSF! :)

I wish they would post the whole thing. I actually would watch the whole thing. The mouse/keyboard thing was funny.

Thought it was amusing when Jobs was introducing the mouse and keyboards:

We didn't want to rush the keyboard and mouse, we wanted to get them right.

Err, Apple didn't do much, they look exactly the same as the previous models...

Throw in Bluetooth stuff and thats it.

The mouse and keyboard were very underwelming for a "Just more last thing" item.

No ****.. someone please give me one good reason to want to buy the apple bluetooth mouse over the Microsoft mouse.. just one. I think the only time apple spent was trying to figure out reason why not to include even a second button. OH WAIT the batteries are in clued I gotta run out and get it then. lol Im sorry I just find it so funny that either someone would buy or apple THINKS people will want to buy the mouse(keyboard I can see maybe but not the mouse) for the price what you can get if you look around for the same price and maybe even cheaper.

What I really cant wait to get a kick out of is when the next keynote comes around and steve says something about the new mouse and that its "been selling like crazy'

What do you expect, it's bluetooth. Much more expensive than plain wireless technologies. The only advantage is the interoperability with other devices.

Someone in the audience yelled out something but I couldn't make it out. Anyone know what they said?

Someone, after Jobs announced the 15", shouted out:

"I want one"

I don't know if this is what you are referring to.

I'd prefer if they played a different keynote. One where they announce a multi button wireless mouse and everyone cheers.;)

It wasn't bad but seeing panther again wouldn't hurt. It was no WWDC'03

I think he says something along the lines of "I want one!" about the new 15"PB, because Stevie goes "well you can have one very soon"

First it was Jagqire and now it is Toshíba. Steve needs to relearn English. :)

I wouldn't be surprised if TOSHiba was the correct pronounciation, vs toSHIBa. I'm no Japanese person, but I hear they've got like this whole different language.
