No, I don't think it'll be just .Mac

Apple has more sense than to employ security guards and secretive black drapes for some online service?

Nooooooooooooooooo!!!!

I've been clutching my credit card since last night!!! I can't go on without buying something new!! I wanted it to be a new Powermac!

I noticed that Apple are in attendance at the Mac Expo in London late next month.

Any chance that they would announce anything there? Not looking promising for today is it? :-(

Can anyone get one hardmac??? (I can't)

Where will the story break first?

Thats where I got the info in my last post. It took ages to get on there, but it worked in the end, they have a photo gallery up - and a pic of the black cloth

"And the famous black curtains, hiding a big banner as well as new computers.
The computers currently exposed are PowerBook, iMac and PowerMac.
If we have further information we will immediately let you know.
"

They must be announcing something today, or they wouldn't have the black drapes up. They've already announced .Mac so there's no reason for it to still be covered, so there must be something else still to come.

Nope, it says "Veuillez rafraîchir la page dans quelques instants." (try reloading in a little while).
Where will the story break first?
Probably on the french version of their site, hardmac is delayed for translations.

how is the Q&A setup?

is someone moderating it? or is the press just posing questions?

what happens if someone just blurts out "new powermacs?" what happens??

Prepares to be slated.......

Apple site showing in hardware page - "New ibooks" go have a look I am probably wrong

Argh, this is so frustrating!

Can't someone just run up and pull all the black cloths down?

It's amazing how a few pieces of black cloth can get me so worked up...

Fingers crossed :(

this is so ridiculous..why are the drapes still up at 20 minutes past?

jeez apple, give us a break already and pull them down!

and i'm hoping they didn't fly steve jobs to paris to answer questions about the new .mac..?

Things are looking bad...

Stores are still up, nothing on the homepage, and Apple already has done "some" announcement..... (remember that the stores were down earlier..)
