I would expect something better from from your side of the world! :D

Oh, well, I guess we will need an ugboot version for the cold of winter in NZ.

I'm in UK at the moment - autumn !! (pretty much like winter in much of NZ). I always wondered what the English Morris Dancing was all about - now I know they are trying to see their shoe-top screens.

And the fan design on the mac mini's acts as a hovercraft effect, so I guess Apple was planning on making all their products broken-dike-proof!

Yes, don't we love Apple saving the world. Wasn't it in the fifties they predicted that by 2000 we all would fly in gizmo planes instead of tapping into the four wheel gasoline trap?

Gosh i need a new powerbook....

The non-US stores went down in order to change the product description for the .Mac retail box. It now includes the 1GB increase and backup 3.0. The US store hasn't been changed yet. It looks like that's all we are getting today folks. Very sad.

They could just be previewing a product thats being released latererer. Everyone's too used to Apple selling things as soon as they unveil them.

I want a updated 20gb iPod.

that's what I've been saying for a while now, but nobody gives a ****.

Noone gives a sh** because yorue a newbie, you have no credible source, you come suggesting something apple hasnt done before, and you post bogus info

stuff like this happens on the forums all the time, people have learnt to ignore it

expect people to believe you if AND ONLY IF you are correct, which i'n this case i'm pretty sure youre not (but hey i'm not always right so heres hoping :))

Shawn King's (YML & Trash Talk) Flickr site has a photo of the roped off section of the Apple booth - it's waaay bigger than i thought, two sections covered in black material and the ceiling hangers blacked out as well. .Mac ain't the only thing we're getting today...

Thanks for the picture Chundles. Good find. :)

Are they security guards outside the roped off section though? I had no idea us Mac Heads™ were so dangerous.

MacH4X0r, you need 30 posts in total to get out of your newbie phase from memory.

They are redesigning the front page to feature the special Dutch Store only iPod Socks. They are made out of wood.

He he...

BTW.. the store was up... down... up again (no changes)
Are they practicing?

weird that I'm a newbie that's been on thsi forum for 2 years...

being a newb is not about date of joining, or post count, its about state of mind... attitude and knowledge ;)

In all seriousness, ask yourself, if someones title reads newbie and they post stuff like your video ipod post would you take them seriously?

:)

I'm 16 years old, I've never owned an apple product, I've been lurking around for a month or so, because I want an iPod. I don't know a lot about mac computers other than they're nice to use and to look at but can't play many computer games.

Please bow down to Shattering Fast, Lord of the Newbs.

Oui, the shirts read "Securité" we are very dangerous. They often have guards around blacked off stands and while they don't need big banners for speed bumps, they do need to black them out so nobody really knows what's under there.

Let's stay on topic people please, not long to go now, I think the press are in for their Q&A before the show starts so all the answers could be along soon.
