Apple Expo starts in just a few hours (4AM EDT, 10AM CET, 1AM PDT) in Paris, France.

Apple will not be streaming Steve Jobs' keynote speech live, but historically has provided an archived stream on their website on the following day.

There is still a small chance MacRumors will be able to provide live updates, but this will depend on the availability of the satellite feed.

If you are aware of other sources for live updates, please submit them.

MacNN Coverage

MacNN says to "stay tuned for coverage" of the keynote, but they do not say if it will be live coverage or not. Anyone know where to see live coverage?

It is 12am here in NYC and I am going to bed ! It will be interesting to wake up tomorrow morning and see what old Apple has brought to us .... I would be in the mood for some cool gadgets.

not bad at all ! a part from the "du" :)
But it looks like there won't be much exciting coming from the powerbook. Clearly, exciting for me would be only a G5 and according to most this is unlikely for the PB's now.

It is 11am. I am in bed with iBook (talk about pathetic). I cannot wait. But alas I have to teach in the AM. To sleep I go.

(Hey honey you awake, I am amorous I have been talking powerbooks all night!.... zzzzzzzzzzzz)

I have to get up for an 8 am class (EST) so hopefully Apple will have updated the website by then. Though, it doesn't really matter, my 50-day-old TiBook is more than enough for me :)

probably means nothing

It probably means nothing, but http://www.apple.com/OrderStatus is down now, even though it worked this afternoon.

My browser's (Mozilla Firebird 0.6) status bars freezes on "waiting for store.apple.com..." for a while, then eventually I get "Server Error: Backend Invalid Response Error."

The rest of the store pages seem to be working.

important time for apple

I think this is such an exciting update because there are a lot of Windozers interested in seeing what's next (after the G5 PMs). So far I think Apple has been pretty successful with their switch campaign, no?

All that aside - I wanna see G5 PBs! And iPod gear!

I'm switching so they're doing something right. :D

Only three more hours until the 0.5" thick, 15.4" screen, PB Dual G5 @ 2.5Ghz, 2 gigs of ram, latest 128 meg Radeon card... shipping with... 64 bit OSX 10.3 and ... Half Life 2.

:)

(Miss the attempted humour at your peril!)

Sleepy now

I've been waiting for a good Powerbook update for the longest time, but haven't we all. I'm going to bed, but I'm going to roll over first thing in the morning and check out my hiptop to see what happened :)

And, Linux folks. Though, I suspect I'll order mine from Terrasoft with it configured to dual boot OS X and Linux, just in case.

All my Linux and BSD buddies swear by OS X, but I'm still a little lost on my mom's iMac.

No one can deny the hardware kicks butt, though.

Lets hope I get a prize for staying up til ~2:30, I think dual g5 alubooks should do the trick:D

The challenge will be getting enough caffine and sugar to stay awake in class tomorow.

Wow, no webcast ? I wanted to stay up to watch it. I configured QT6 for it too. Oh well. I guess I can sleep early.

I'll start it.

Named: "apple expo"

Join in!!

how do I join an existing AIM chat room like that?!?

I think that you'll have to invite each person individually, if that is the case... my SN is st0id (that's a zero in the middle and not a capital "Oh")

Thanks

doesnt it remind you a little bit of christmas morning?
