This is great.

Something tells me with all the depression and hang wringing, there will still be someone complaining about it. Odd how negative these boards have turned. Criticism is fine but some of the statements are so short sighted they're laughable.

It actually happened before you even commented. It is typical around here, there seem to be some people who would complain/criticize just about anything, regardless of that is positive or negative. And if you argue with them you are guaranteed to be called fanboy.

TVOs11 is a pig, I will be buying a cable so I can put my ATV4 back to TVOs10.2.2

1. After YEARS of Siri being available on the iPhone, iPad, Mac it is still not available on the ATV4 in NZ
2. I have ripped all my DVDs onto an iTunes server, the "Computers" option where you can access shared libraries under TVOs11 is a major step backwards. You can no longer tell what you have/have not watched.
3. "Recent" only allows 10 most recently added items to show, you can not change this
4. Moving between episodes is far more awkward than it was in TVOs10.2.2
5. Scrolling through shows is no longer a list, it now includes cover art in a grid fishing which is MUCH slower

Stick with TVOs 10.2.2 , its a significantly better product, and you may find if you do upgrade you will not be able to go back to the older version.

This is the first Apple OS of any kind that I have gone back to the older version.

It definitely wasn't possible before.

That was a known glitch which said you must be online when you already were.

The workaround was to use the menu share option, but one way only.

Solution was rentals in the cloud, but that is limited to same ID.

iTunes rentals are too expensive. The only time I’ve ever done it was during a winter storm and we were snowed in.

In general digital prices are about what I would pay to OWN digital media...........just a little cheap when it's digital.

If I remember correctly way back in time they started with 48 hours and then dropped it to 24 shortly thereafter. I am glad it is back!
