Brazil's politicians have made Apple products more expensive in Brazil than any other country on earth.

Computers are crucial tools for economic self-empowerment.

They have kicked every low-income Brazillian family to the kerb.

Truly, one of the most disgusting policies that I've heard of.

An entire generation of young Brazillian entrepreneurs will never exist because of these wealthy political psychopaths.

So you think they’re guilty?
Guilty of having an integrated ecosystem? Well, I disagree with the word "guilty" being used because it implies something is wrong with Apple's approach, but Apple does have an integrated ecosystem. That's why people like me have an iPhone, a Mac, etc. -- so we can have an integrated ecosystem. I wouldn't mind being able to "sideload" apps onto my iPhone like I do with my Mac, but it's not something I have to have for my phone to be useful to me.

That’s because of import tariffs on non Brazilian products
The exact same will happen in the USA when trump puts his import tariffs in for things being imported

Allowing 'sideloading' would open the floodgates for Spyware, Malware and a flood of shovel ware to infiltrate iOS.
Feel free to get an Android if you want to deal with viruses and people stealing all your data. NO ONE is forcing you to use any Apple devices.

As I've mentioned in the past, Apple has allowed sideloading (aka installing apps) for a very long time. It can be done right now by anyone using Apple products. Larger corporations do it all the time when deploying devices. The "catch" is that Apple does not make it easy to do for the layman. In all the time that it has been allowed, there have been no major issues.

Interestingly, most of the world runs on Android, which allows sideloading, and yet the apocalypse has not happened.

According to the Eay apple is important as it makes the most money. So we will see what happens as bad actors ramp up to speed in the eu.

Apple WILL be forced to allow normal software installation worldwide eventually.

It's just a matter of time before most governments outlaw Apple's abusive behavior. It will go better for Apple if they stop fighting it and stop interfering with our right to install software of our choosing on our devices.
