Using my AirTags and Apple Watch on my Samsung device would be kinda nice but a little too late. I already had to buy the Samsung version of those devices
Interesting, any solid source for that? Not many high GDP European countries outside of the EU.Again Apple’s “Europe” market segment includes all non-EU countries in Europe, the Middle East, India, and Africa.
The EU represents somewhere between 7-10% of Apple’s revenue.

That’s a big $94 Billion no to that strategy. At some point, it will make more sense for Apple to stop selling in the EU than comply with this nonsense.
Europe =/= EUThat’s a big $94 Billion no to that strategy.

Apple's CFO, stated that the EU countries make up about 7% of Apple's global App Store revenue on a shareholder call. I can't think of a reason that the EU's percentage of App Store revenue would be any different than it's percentage of iPhone revenue, and I've asked in multiple threads and not gotten a good response (just claims that he "misspoke" on a shareholder call - which ignores the fact that Apple didn't correct the record which they would be required to do on that call.)Interesting, any solid source for that? Is it possible, that you are confusing stuff here. I think the company (owned by apple) you are referring to is the one mentioned in that article https://www.theguardian.com/technol...-irish-division-rise-to-69bn-corporation-tax/ that had a revenue of about 223 billion.Again Apple’s “Europe” market segment includes all non-EU countries in Europe, the Middle East, India, and Africa.

I know! Apple may never recover financially from this! Won’t somebody please think of the trillionaire corps!Wait. At the end of this, we might be able to use other smartwatches PROPERLY with an iPhone? This is horrible news. Competition is bad customers!
eventually...then they will cry that there is no competition...just 2 open source OSCorrect me if I am wrong but:
The EU wants iOS open source?
Ahh so you actually base your argument on your own conclusion rather than on facts. Got it.An American who lived in Europe, speaks a major non-English E.U. language fluently, and has a brother who is about to become an EU citizen. But sure, i don’t know anything about Europe because I’m American.

Also, the UK and India rank reportedly #3 and #4 in by-country revenue (bigger than France and Germany, for example). Both are outside of the EU but included in Apple's "Europe" market segment.
The list of countries in Apple’s “Europe” market segment can be seen on Apple's latest 10-K on investor.apple.com - it's on Page 5 of the 2023 10-K.
Turning? lol. Been bully for centuries. Ask those colonies. This is crazy… I think the EU is turning into a bully 🙄
I am not confusing stuff here. I am going to trust Apple’s CFO and financial disclosure reports over an anonymous forum user not offering any evidence I’m wrong. Is it possible, that you are confusing stuff here. That's quite an assumption you're jumping on right there.Apple's CFO, stated that the EU countries make up about 7% of Apple's global App Store revenue on a shareholder call. You are right about the document you provided. Apple in this report concludes Europe with India and so on.I am not confusing stuff here. I am going to trust Apple’s CFO and financial disclosure reports over an anonymous forum user not offering any evidence I’m wrong.
