It's a great design - why change it?

And, the majority of the internals are different. The first phone to be a "world phone" is huge. And, splitting the send/receive antennas for CDMA networks is genius. No one else can do that.

It's an amazing new phone.
And you're a whiner if you think otherwise.

Yup. And the reality is this --

1. It shouldn't take 16 months to put a new chip into a phone.

2. A flagship product shouldn't go 16 months without a single redesign.

I agree. Especially since they only make one phone. Its not like they have a few different models out there to worry about. I still wish they had at least 2 different versions. Keep the 4s and make another with the bigger screen and what not. Again that's just my opinion. I know some do not agree

No fanboy opinion, just honest bottom line facts. The iPhone4S is not a top of the line Smartphone, take away Siri voice control which was a third party app created by someone else than Apple, and the 4S is a complete joke of an upgrade after 16 months.

If you are in the market for a new smartphone, the 4S goes third on the list. #1 hands down will be the Nexus-Prime, and after next week you will know why it will be the world first Super-Smartphone, not just spec wise either, the "Ice Cream" update will really make the OS such a better device, and they also have an updated redesigned voice control system coming. #2 Windows Mango phones are actually very cool devices, the Nokia version coming out later this year will be a thing of beauty, and the Samsung Focus-S based off a Galaxy S II device will also be awesome. Then if for some reason you want a small screen, and stale looking boring OS, I guess buy an iPhone4S.

So people are dismissing the 4S before even using it?

Talk about closed minds. I'd rather have a phone that works than one that has been rushed out.

Oh and before someone says the 4 had antenna issues, it's never been a problem for me. Still the best phone I've ever owned.

The iLame 4S? They actually called it that? Someone needs to fire their writers if that's the best insult they could come up with.
