Apple fans will deny it lolHere's the sad part. These TShirts were designed on and printed by Windows 10.

Yeah, it was a time when Apple actually made tech products to talk about.![]()
You mean back when the company was called "Apple Computers"? Yeah, I remember the days when they wowed me with technological innovation, not crappy self-adulation.
Oh that is the most ridiculous thing ever. And mind you, I was raised to be thankful for any kind gesture and raise my own family to do the same. I do not support an attitude of entitlement at all. I'm very strict about such things in my home.
But this is not about entitlement. It's about gratitude, appreciation, and wishing people well during the holidays and how this effort by Apple is an epic fail at expressing any of these sentiments and seems like more self aggrandizement. It's quite disappointing and just perfectly rounds out the image Apple has been putting out there for 2016. (I don't mean to bash--I'm still a fan of their potential and hope they do much better in 2017).
From what I can see of the comments so far, people are critical of these gifts because they have more appreciation and generosity in their hearts for the people in their own lives who bust their butts to enrich their lives in various capacities, and are aghast that the management of a company as wealthy and successful as Apple has the gall to make such a tepid effort.
I do better by the dudes who pick up my recyclables than Apple. I can't imagine giving a weird looking t-shirt and funky poetic gibberish (that sounds like a New Age way to nag them to do their jobs better) to anyone who has served me in any capacity.
These shirts and credos look like the typical swag given away at promotional events rather than even a half hearted way to say thank you and wish happiness and good fortune during the holiday season to hardworking and good employees who helped build the huge money pile the executives are sitting on.
A simple card saying "Thank you for being a part of the Apple family. May you have a happy holiday and a wonderful new year. " would have suited the holidays better and left less room open for misinterpretation.
So buy some Apple stock. Once a year we get to vote on the board. Vote Tim out. I know I have for the past few years.
You do realise that what you mentioned is standard for most large companies and retail pays very little. Good chance the other poster actually pays more. Spend an hour in an Apple Store , and see what those staff have to do, and decide if you consider that rewarding . I could not do it
wow, another T shirt made in china for 1 cent. Lol
Some entitled children in this thread. Nothing wrong with a shirt. The first 10 years of my career I got a $10 bill and a xeroxed note.
Do they work for a company that makes as much as Apple? Of course not...There are employees in this world much more vital than Apple employees that put up with a ton more crap that get no bonus. I'd say in general throughout the entire workforce the vast majority of employees deserve rewarding, but that just isn't real life, only some end up getting it. If you or anyone else are lucky enough to receive any level of added rewards for your work, be thankful.
:-(better than I got: a pink slip.

Best sketch ever, but I used to live in a lake, so what do I know? And a loaf of bread was 25 cents and a movie costed 2.50, and you walked uphill both ways to school, etc. etc.
I will say it doesn't reflect a caring gesture from Apple considering they are the richest company in the world. And I know employee's are not entitled to a Holiday gift, but Apple could have extended this somewhat further.
It's like giving your server a 25¢ tip on a $100 tab. Sometimes it's better to give nothing than to give something insulting. If it were me, I'd burn it in the middle of the floor while giving the biggest "**** you" fingers. This clearly shows that Apple doesn't value their employees as much as they once did. What an insulting joke.
A company holiday gift has nothing to do with holiday or other bonuses or any other compensation. So many people confuse and mix those things (either on purpose or not)--one isn't related to the other.Yep. What's the point of a company having a quarter trillion dollars in the bank, if it acts like Scrooge towards its own employees.
Uh oh. Now I'm visualizing the Ghosts of Past, Present and Future visiting Tim Cook on Christmas Eve.
Actually, now THAT's a movie I'd go see. Hmm. Jobs as Ghost of Past, Musk as Ghost of Present, and Ballmer for Future? No, wait, that's not right. Help me out, please. Ideas, anyone?
