Hoped to get Harry Potter for $10, since I lost my Blu-Ray copies.

Won't buy it for $60 though.

I'm fairly certain no one has missed the "deal" but only the ability to benefit from an unintentional pricing error on select titles.

what was the {Harry Potter} bundle price before the 'sale'?

$80, I checked to see the prices when the store tab went live at midnight EST and nothing had cheaper prices yet

LOTR was set to 34.97 before the "sale" which was actually the price of the 3 unbundled movies bought separately. So that bundle was a bit of a horrible deal before.

Regardless of who's fault it is movies are still too expensive on iTunes, and there are hardly ever any decent sales.

I also think its ridiculous that we are still getting charged a premium for HD. How long have blurays been around now, about 7 or 8 years?

You're probably right.

However, I think Apple should periodically have a firesale type thing like this to boost iTunes usage. I would have bought nearly every single collection if they were all $10. That's like $150 bucks that iTunes never would have gotten from me.

I agree. The logical person in me knows that I'll never watch the three Austin Powers films again, but the hoarder in me sees the bundle for $10 and thinks "Buy Buy BUY!"

Well, I'm sorry some of you are in countries that have been left out, but for me the 10 dollars for all 8 Harry Potter movies in an insanely obvious choice.

Doesn't even matter that I own 3 on disk already.

I too think that is an awesome deal, even though I actually already own all of them, simply so that I can have them in the cloud everywhere I go. However, at this posting time, even though I am in Washington, in the states, it actually shows it for $59.99, not $9.99. This is weird. I will have to keep checking to see if it changes for me.

If I could've gotten the 3 Austin movies for $10 I would've, to watch in HD!

But not for $17..

I was able to get LOTR, Harry Potter, The Matrix, and Lethal Weapon for $10 each. Since I have a MacBook Air I don't have enough space to download them right now so I just chose later when it asked if I wanted to download the movies. They all show up in my purchased area. If the price on any of them was wrong do I still own them and can I download them to any of my devices or is there a way Apple can remove my ability to download them and refund what I paid?

I purchased Harry Potter and LOTR for $10 on my iphone this morning. Didnt download them. I choose later as you did. Just opened my ipad and they're in the purchased section and i was able to download and start the movies. At this point it appears that Apple will eat the cost of the wrong pricing and we'll have our movies.

Clearly the $9.99 price was an error.

Yeah I just checked on my iPhone and for each movie the price changes to the cloud symbol. I just hope they don't refund the purchases and remove them from our accounts.

Same here, purchased at 6AM.

Didn't get LOTR, but did get the HP (HD) collection for $9.99. Couldn't pass that price up.

So Apple has no control over what appears in their store? This was likely a mistake on Apple's part. They're the ones who put the prices in the store.

No just common sense. The movies with pricing errors are all from warner brothers

TLTR Harry Potter Lethal Weapon Austin powers Matrix. No other studio had a problem. No problems with fox, paramount etc. Again this is a WB issue not an apple one. If you angry be angry at the right people.

Harry Potter

Harry Potter bundle keeps switching back and forth from $9.99 to $59.99 every time I click it. When I go to purchase it at $9.99 it says this item is being modified, please try again later.
