Really sad that bringing awareness to a disease that kills 2 million people per year has to go in the controversial sub forum...
There are plenty of diseases contracted or otherwise that kill far more people. So why the favoritism? Especially on a "controversial" subject as some may call it.

If only we just banished people with aids, then no one would catch it and we'd all be fine. In nature, if you have something wrong with you, you die... it's how we should live.

One more sloppy mobile post. Distancing yourself from a problem doesn't fix anything. By your logic, there should be no insulin, no antibiotics, no vaccines, no antiseptics, no doctors, etc. Humans did not evolve that way. We used our intelligence as part of our evolution. If you want to ignore what nature gave you, fine, but don't attack others who are smart enough to use it.

you probably think GMO's are evil too.... stop being a quack....and don't believe everything you read on the internet.

Lol calling me the quack when AIDS quackery has massacred millions. And it's you who are gullible.

Look up Christine maggiore

Maggiore's promotion of AIDS denialism had long been controversial, particularly since her 3-year-old daughter, Eliza Jane Scovill, died of Pneumocystis jiroveci pneumonia, considered to be an AIDS-defining illness. Consistent with her belief that HIV was harmless, Maggiore had not taken medication to reduce the risk of transmission of HIV to her daughter during pregnancy, and she did not have Eliza Jane tested for HIV during her daughter's lifetime.[3][4]Maggiore herself died on December 27, 2008 after suffering from AIDS-related
So she was so deluded in her HIV denialism that she ended up killing her 3 year daughter she could have protected with medication and ended up dying herself. Not a great way to demonstrate HIV is harmless.....

I saw a program where this guy says "people have such a bias towards HIV"........ YES, I DON'T WANT YOUR DISEASED **** AROUND ME!

Next time you're sick, I hope you will not cheat nature! No doctor and no passing your sickness to others, just look for some quiet corner in the woods to end naturally, will you?

HIV has never been isolated. It is a myth. Look up Peter Duesberg, Stefan Lanka, Robin Scovill / Christine Maggiore (who was murdered by Big Pharma interests, as was her infant daughter).

AIDS is a blanket term for a plethora of diseases. Glaxo Smith Klein and other pharmaceutical companies have you fooled. Go ahead and take their drugs, their poison "medication".

Here's a link to "The Other Side of AIDS", which debunks the HIV myth:

How do you explain the effectiveness of newer HIV drugs then?

Since you replied to my sarcasm seriously. ;)

Technically they do.

Technically they don't; it's the bullet that dispatches the energy from it's propulsion connecting with the human body that disrupts the cells that kills people. The gun is just the device that controls the bullet. It also takes a an operator to aim and pull the trigger. Ultimately when it comes to guns a person operating a gun is who kills the other person. Guns don't kill people just like hammers don't drive nails.

No, YOU need to educate yourself and please take your blinders off.

So gay men are more at risk for HIV in the US than other groups, what exactly is your point? Worldwide there are all sorts of at risk groups for HIV/AIDS. I would wager that in Africa most infected people are not gay, and many babies are born infected. RED has no "agenda" other than fighting a worldwide disease that doesn't discriminate. If you can somehow imply that RED is part of some "leftist gay agenda" then you have some serious issues you need to work out. However, Apple supports many specifically LGBT causes, so that should anger you much more than product RED. So does Google actually, so does Microsoft. You're just angry that a company that you're a fan of doesn't share your narrow-minded and bigoted view of the world. Deal with it.

I don't see anyone angry. I see opinions being voiced that perhaps they feel are better causes. Not everyone has a soft spot for gays with HIV. deal with it.

He's not angry? As renzatic previously said, his bottom lip is practically quivering. He doesn't have ideas for better causes, he just doesn't like this one because a group he doesn't like is more effected by it. I guess most people disagree with this since product RED is huge. Guess society doesn't have a soft spot for bigots who somehow manage to equate a worldwide cause to fight against a disease that effects many people with "gays with HIV". That just sounds so idiotic it's unbelievable. But I guess in a backwards conservative mind it must make some sense.

I'm dealing with it just fine. Going to buy my product red 6 Plus case today, then I'm going to have some good PROTECTED sex with some random dude on Grindr. Then I might marry him just because I can so we can get tax benefits that you can pay for while you're "disagreeing with my lifestyle". Might hit up one of those famous "christian bakeries" while we're at it. Deal with it. :D

Replies like this amuse me. Presented with facts, it immediately turns into name calling. I guess tolerance only works one way.

I don't think anyone argued that gay men are not at a higher risk of HIV (In the US, anyway). It's just that in most people's minds that fact doesn't make the cause any less important. It will continue over the wishes of the minority of people who are against it. Don't like it? Too bad.

I guess tolerance only works one way.
You poor little persecuted thing. :(

let it go man, he lives a life you and I would likely never want and thankfully don't have and enjoys it. if someone is going to let it be him and people like him.

Good point. The hypocrisy just cracks me up is all.

How do you explain that so-called "HIV" has never been isolated? How do you explain the discoverer of "HIV" Luc Montagnier recently stating that "HIV" is "harmless"?

Her daughter was poisoned by a criminal doctor. I interviewed Christine Maggiore and Robin Scovill on a podcast before Christine died (was murdered), and they explained exactly what happened with the doctor - he administered a deadly dose of medication to their 3 year old daughter.

Anyway, Luc Montagnier - the discoverer of "HIV" recently referred to "HIV" as exactly that: "harmless".

Bicker, bicker, bicker. You're like children.

Yes, gay men have a higher risk of contracting HIV. Why? Because they're more promiscuous. Why? Because they are men and gay or straight, men are more promiscuous than women and that is a fact. Yes HIV is a problem and yes gay men should take it more seriously - especially young gay men who weren't around in the 80s. But straight people should not be complacent - just because the mechanism of transmission means that it is harder for a man to contract it from an infected woman, doesn't make it safe and the fact it happens at all should make you grow up and realise this isn't some divine retribution for gays being gay. A close friend of mine died of cervical cancer because her husband had been sleeping around and gave her HPV. Didn't find out until it was too late. I don't see anyone here slut-shaming cervical cancer charities.

HIV/AIDS treatment and prevention drugs have come on leaps and bounds in the last few years but the huge problem still lies in the third world where babies are born with the disease without the parents even knowing. Everything with you guys ALWAYS has to come down to finding bum sex icky. The problem is bigger than that and bigger than your hang ups - but going by some of your past posts you probably think all those kids out in Africa are the masters of their own destinies and should just deal with it.

There are thousands of charities across the world doing all kind of good deeds, raising money from all manner of activities and brand collaborations. This is just one tiny part.

P.S. Lesbians have the lowest incidence of HIV. God obviously loves them most of all.
