Wow @ $80! What do they do? Cook breakfast for me, or something. I'm going to stick to my $20 Wal-Mart headphones that are loud and reliable.:apple:

A cell-phone at $300? What do they do? Cook breakfast for me, or something. I'm going to stick to my free Motorola that makes calls and is reliable.:apple:

See how that works?

great idea! people must be stupid to pay $80!!! in-fact, you should buy 4 sets of walmart headphones and wear then at the same time...imagine how loud that would be!!!

Sorry, just one pair of $20 earphones are loud enough for me. ;)

You aren't getting the point here, what's so special about these headphones? I bet I could tell you what's special about a $300 iPhone compared to a free Motorola phone.

See how that works? :apple:

i think we can all agree here, that YOU are the one not getting the point...

why dont you now go back to your $20 in-ear, dual driver, remote and microphone equipped walmart headphones?

You aren't getting the point here.

LOL That's completely ironic, since you're the one with the initial pointless comparison to a $20 pair of Walmart headphones.

I'm not going to list the differences. If you don't know, you're better off not knowing. As they say, ignorance is bliss.

If you're happy with your $20 cheap pair, that's all that matters. But don't make an ignorant claim like you did earlier, as if a more expensive pair of headphones can't provide a better listening experience.

And quit making yourself looks silly. That's like going into a car forum and saying "$40,000 for a car??? My $14,000 Honda Fit drives fast and reliably enough for me!"

Have these popped up in any So Cal stores yet? I want to see them...

I ordered these on dec 6, and my estimated sip date is dec 30 and the estimated delivery date is jan 6. Does anyone know why it will take this long? Or is there any chance of me receiving these earlier.

Anyone know if these are in stores yet, specifically Canada? I have to take my iMac into the Fairview Apple store and was hoping to pick these up while I was there.

I ordered mine on 12/4 and my status changed today from "delivers Jan. 2" to "delivers Dec. 22-30" although my order status is still "Not yet shipped".
Also, It now says on the online store "Ships 7-10 days" instead of 2-3 weeks.

I just picked them up from the Apple Store in Toronto (Eaton Center), and they had just one box left on the peg. Canceled my online order as soon as I got them.

Oh, and a quick note, the Volume controls work with the new Unibody MBP.

Thanks for the headsup. I didn't even know there was a location at Fairview Mall. Was driving through the area today so I stopped buy and picked up a set. They still had plenty left around 3pm, least 8 pairs on the pegs. Gonna try them out shortly!

These In-Ear headphones by Apple are not compatible with the iPhone 3G based on their website.

So are the people posting here doing reviews for the iPods/iPod Touch?
Am I missing something here?

The earbuds, microphone, and middle button features all work for the iPhone. The only thing that doesn't is the volume controls which could hopefully be fixed with an update but which is why Apple doesn't list it as being compatible.

Has anyone been able to find a pair in Manhattan yet? I'll be in SoHo today, so I was going to check them out there, but just wanted to see if anyone had found any at W. 14th or 5th Ave.

Thanks.
