YESSSSS I always wanted to buy a McLaren but they never had a back-to-school special to sweeten the deal.

They've got the "Money" and of course you know, the Courage to buy it.
It seems an odd match based on the headline. Apple touts it's eco credentials, but McLaren builds cars with very low MPG.
But look at the linked article (which also has a similar headline) and it is actually the McLaren Technology Group, which is also involved in medicine, energy and materials. It then looks a better match. I can still see a change in direction for the cars if Apple takes over.

There's an acquisition I could get behind. I'm not sure they'd have much interest in the F1 team, but the Automotive and Applied Technologies Division would be very sensible in some ways. Lots of similar DNA there. Worth listening to this Radio 4 show about McLaren AT.
