What app and how are you getting it to proofread?
I have utilized this feature on Safari, Mail, and Messages. To access the writing tools, I selected the desired text and then chose the appropriate writing options via writing tools.

Replied with writing tools.

I use this so much when cooking, but you have to be careful. More than once I've said "15 minutes" and Siri thinks I said "50 minutes". Yeah that food will be quite thoroughly burned.
This is why I started asking for 49 minute timers. Siri couldn’t distinguish between the two. Most of the time 15 minutes is correct but 50 is almost never correct.

Oh wow is this the first time they've had beta testing for both the major release in the fall and its first big dot update simultaneously? It sounds like 18.1 is going to be the exact same as 18.0 just with some of the Apple Intelligence features turned on, no?
First time this early

how it is possible that being in EU, I get the intelligence features just bt using an App Store US account and the same doesn't work for the iPad? This makes no sense at all. How is Apple finding region if the iPad is not a cellular one, so no sim to be detected.

so do you loose all apple intelligence functionality if you switch back to UK? Or is it just Siri 2.0?
