The other weird thing on my 12 is, that I had this issue first when I updated to iOS 14.2.1. When I went back and installed iOS 14.2 the problem was still there.I only have the green tint between 15 and 65% brightness, weird.

Same issue here, iPhone 12 pro.
In an internal document obtained by MacRumors, Apple has acknowledged an issue with some iPhone 12 displays exhibiting flickering, a green or gray glow, or other unintended lighting variations under some conditions.

In the document, shared with Apple Authorized Service Providers this week, Apple says that it is aware of customer reports related to this issue and is investigating. Apple has advised technicians to avoid servicing affected iPhones, at least for now, and instead inform customers that they should keep their iPhone up to date with the latest iOS version. This guidance suggests that Apple may be confident that it can fix the issue in a future software update.
A similar green tinted display issue affected some iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max models, and Apple was able to fix it in iOS 13.6.1.
There have been complaints about this new issue in the MacRumors forums and Apple Support Communities since shortly after iPhone 12 models launched. The issue can affect the iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max.
Based on customer reports, the issue appears to occur when the display brightness is set to around 90% or lower. Many users are experiencing the issue on iOS 14.1, iOS 14.2, and seemingly even the first two iOS 14.3 betas. The flickering or glowing is not always persistent, disappearing after a short time for some customers.
If and when the issue is addressed, or we learn more, we'll update this article accordingly.

Apple Genius. At least it’s only when “brightness is 90% or less”.
Well so much for thinking I escaped this display issue.Just watched this video, didn’t think anything was wrong with my display.... but when I switched it off/on in a dark room there was a definite glow from the screen, which in my eyes being an OLED screen should be solid black when the logo is displayed.
Lets hope there is a fix coming
You’re testing it wrong.Just tested my iPhone mini for the heck of it, and it doesn’t have the screen problem.
100%. I have 3 iPhone 12 Pro Max’s here with me. One of them flickers in low light when displaying blacks the others don’t. The one that flickers flashes like this upon reboot in a dark room for a second or so:The fact that not everybody have the issue makes me think it is a hardware defect
Thank you for sharing this video. I played it and I did not get any weird flickering, but I did notice that during the video where it says "this is true black" I did not get true black, but the borders or the side black bars were true black. If I made the video cover the entire screen, it does not show true black again and if I make it smaller, the borders turn true black. This gives me hope that this might be a software issue and I won't have to get a refund and try my luck on a different phone. Though I might have just gotten a pretty decent one.Yeah, I noticed this while I was playing Among Us; in between screens, the screen is usually black, which presents weird flickering. Haven’t noticed any green tint, but the flickering on pure black/near black screens is noticeable.
I also tried this Dolby Cinema trailer; I get some very weird flickering/color issues in this video as well.
Thanks for sharing. I only noticed flickering in landscape mode when I touch my screen too see the “control buttons” and then get one flickering on the black side bars on the left and the right. I do not see it in portrait mode.Yeah, I noticed this while I was playing Among Us; in between screens, the screen is usually black, which presents weird flickering.
