Funny thing is I had around €1200 saved for an entry level MacBook Pro for a summer launch that was rumoured but as we all know never materialised. I now have over €2000 ready to go so I can get a nice high spec 13" with more power than I'll ever need. Was looking at Windows alternatives after the iPhone event but the fear of buying another unreliable Dell took hold.

That symbol looks ....bad news. It's mysteriously telling me there are few mac products being announced.
The bitten off apple symbol. "Hello again?" What does that mean? It should have been, "long time no see." Or maybe, "I've never seen you before."

Man, this is going to be expensive.....
Top of the line MBP 15"
Mac Mini
and hopefully TB 5K display.
Well worth it.

My God! Alleluia! Now, I believe it.
Mac Pro's
Mac Mini
MBP
and 5K displays.....
Come on Apple!
display is gone. Mac pro is unknown...and mini is unknown.
Therefore, you can believe MBP and maybe imac.

They should play Adele's "Hello" for this event.

"Hello, it's me
I was wondering if after all these years you'd like to meet
To go over everything
They say that time's supposed to heal ya
But I ain't done much healing
Hello, can you hear me?
I'm in California dreaming about who we used to be..."

Would be ever so fitting.

No USB-A and no Lightning? How am I supposed to connect my brand new iPhone or my Lightning headphones?

What makes you think there won't be Lightning?

(not that I think Apple will introduce male to male Lightning cables to solve that problem anyway)

Like anything new, most likely you'll need to buy a new USB-C to Lightning cable like all the current Retina MacBook users do.
