I hope its the return of the floppy drive

Newbie

I spend more time reading these threads than I do posting. MacRumors is actually the first forum that I've ever joined. Guess my newbie title is fitting. With that said anyone have the does and the don'ts to forum etiquette. I've never followed blogs either. MacRumors and a few YouTube "vlogs" are my first. All tips are welcome!

"It's been way too dam long, thats why we are finally adding 2 GB of RAM to our tablets!!!!"

Most important tip - if you praise Apple you are a fanboy. If you slag off Apple, then you are a fandroid.

Keep this in mind and you will be ok..

Gonna go out on a limb and guess that "Its been way too Long" is a hint that Apple FINALLY gets rid of the horrendous iMac "Chin" ... which has indeed been both "way too long" and since day one (of the current iMac design), around "way too long"! IMO

If they do this then count me as a comrade in arms with the 4" phone crowd. For those that like the MP design, this may be nice. I'm not in that group.

I just want updated internals and continued easy upgrading. I'm most likely in the minority, but the functionality is key for me. The current form is perfectly fine.

I’m not sure that they will. Thinking about it, the ‘new mini’ will have to have enough height to fit in the fan and PSU at its top and base. A flattenened form factor I don’t beileve leaves sufficient space for the actual computing hardware.

And yet the keyboard is probably as perfect you can make it. I have been using my apple keyboard ever since I got it and never looked back. Apart from wireless charging and introducing more gestures theres nothing much they can do with the mouse. Perhaps they could find a way to integrate touch ID into both which would be cool, but otherwise they are fine tuned products which dont require changing.

5 words: wireless keyboard with number pad

all i want is a macbook air with retina display and still 12 hours battery. And a black bezel :p

It looks to me like the Mini-watchers will finally get their update?

Personally, I've been waiting on a Retina iMac... but I bet I'll probably have to keep waiting because of how much it is going to cost at first.
