I'm thinking this is a reference to Cook's comments about TV being stuck in the 70's to Charlie Rose. Add to that the homekit stuff and the length of time since the last update... this feels like Apple TV to me. Fingers crossed.

Either Mac centric refreshes - Mac Mini (either redesign or spec bump), iMac (3.5 or 4k display with new nVidia GPU), MBA (also retina display, possibly merging into a single 12" model with a thinner bezel), new retina thunderbolt displays.

Otherwise, I can see the iPad Pro. Large tablet with stylus support that runs a Mac OS/iOS hybrid. I'm really wishing for this but I doubt Apple has the guts to do it.

Sounds right.

The colors and the 'it's been too long' reference Apple back when their logo was a rainbow (pre 1998).

It's possible Apple is now thinking about colors on its laptops and desktops, like they used to have pre-1998.

I`m thinking iPod. Touch uses the A5 processor. It`s been way too long since they have updated them. Yes it is a declining business but it is still a huge business compared to a lot of others. And colors make sense in line with iPod colors.

Maybe iPod Touch Plus? Wouldn`t that be the new gaming platform?
