Interesting way to phrase it. The three obvious options are "...living without Retina on the desktop.", "...since we redesigned the iMac", and "...since we updated the Mini."

My bet is on the desktop Retina, realistically, but I really want to buy an updated Mini--heck, even a reasonably refreshed one--so I'm kinda hoping that's at least part of it.

Perhaps we're finally getting all those product updates Timmy promised for 2014? Like iMacs, iPads, Mac mini, Yosemite.. you know, just about everything but the iPhone?

I'm not goig to go through the whole thread, did anyone mention that the graphic looks like a pressure-sensitive stylus?

Besides the iPads, I'm guessing Mac Mini as well. Apple Tv also needs an update, so that's a good possibility too. I'm actually looking forward to those two more than the iPads.

My iPads are doing fine, so I will buy a new Apple TV whenever it's released and likely to buy a Mac mini too as my new desktop mac and not the iMac.

obvious one. Apple has been in business for 38 years which is a long time in the tech industry: "It's Been Way Too Long"
Apple is shutting down. So, after all, Apple IS doomed.

Me right now.....

jk my wallet isn't even ready :(

"It's been way too long" possible references

iPhone: obviously not
iPad: seriously doubt it, unless referring to it's lack of touchID
iMac: just had a redesign 2 years ago. Retina reference? seriously doubt it
Mac mini: while very outdated, do you really think the mac mini is an important enough device to be the focal point of an event?... case and point
iPods: No these aren't important to Apple
Macbook air: doesn't really make sense, because no one really thinks the mba is outdated.. so unless its a something revolutionary, which brings me to...
iPad pro/iOSbook Air: this kind of a hybrid device would make sense from the tagline, but I don't really see Apple releaseing this product
Apple TV: I think this is the most logical. Haven't had a h/w update in years. Better hardware is needed for homekit integration. Been wanting an app store for a long time. There is basically a lot of directions Apple could take this device in.

Yeah it seems that the Apple TV is the most likely to be what apple is talking about. But every time I think about the words "Its been way to long" I really feel that by saying this Apple is dissing on themselves. Weird...

I just want a combo 12" iPad/Mac Air device with auto OS switching. I long for a device like this.

What a negative spin on something so happy. Apple events are like ****ing holidays to me. I LOVE them

This means a new Mac mini for sure, simply because it's been "way too long".

Oh, and it's not iPod's, they've been dead for a while now. We have 128GB devices now.

Definitely upgrading my iPad 3 to a new Air. I'll take a 64GB (assuming no 32GB) 9.7" in Space Grey, please!

A shorter iPad. Or maybe just a shorter presentation. :D

I could actually see a new 5.5 inch ipad to replace iPod touch. Touch is basically a tiny ipad anyway. Seems strange to keep calling it an iPod.

I would state I very much doubt we will see any iPad Pro launched, or any television set launched..

We will I think see a new MacBook Air 12" and maybe they will ditch the other 2 models?
iMac update no doubt possibly with Retina... or maybe.... just maybe... they will bring back the 17" MacBook Pro?
