Surprised Apple is streaming it for Microsoft Edge in addition to their products

The majority of iphone owners are PC/Windows users...
So its all about maximum exposure.
Sensible i reckon...

Didn't the "hey siri" activation without being plugged in rumor get squashed long ago, based on the fact this would kill the battery ridiculously fast. For that to be feasible, Siri would have to always be listening, always be on, which would mess up the battery life.

For current iOS devices this is true. However, some hypothetical new iOS device might included an updated Apple low-power-always-on M-chip that can listen for Siri activation audio. Maybe that's one of event announcement hints?

No, Apple didn't change anything. Microsoft decided to support HTTP Live Streaming (the Apple developed protocol Apple uses for streaming) with Microsft Edge.

Never locking your phone is hardly an earth-shattering feat. But it's a good way to expose all your private information.
WAG: Someone who feels even after seeing a device in the flesh feel the urge to enforce that a new feature is not real or could be added as a software update. i.e.: Touch iD -Source: Forum Dictionary thread.

I lock my phone with Touch iD like most other human beings with the feature available.

Yay, more full screen Siri screenshots to clog up the thread, because, you know, we haven't already seen every single Siri hint screenshot.

That's why I suggested that this forum change to a nesting format so people actually know when someone has posted the exact same response already. Nobody reads through the entire thread before they respond to a post to see if someone already said the same thing.

It wasn't locked in your video. Lock it and THEN do your Hey Siri trick that no one else can do with auto lock on.

How do you "lock your phone with Touch ID"?
