there's no hard drive in the Apple TV 3...why would they put one back in, it would increase the size.

Why would it significantly increase the size? They have terabyte SSDs that could almost fit inside the current case footprint. Wouldn't cost $99 anymore though....

You wouldn't be paying $100 for an extra 16 gb, you'd be paying an extra $100 for an additional 48 gb; 64 gb is the next step up if they continue with current practice.. or you could pay $200 for an extra 112 gb storage.

Someone should take a look at previous invitations and see whether they were actually hints at what was being introduced. My guess is no, and all this reading into a few colors and shapes is breeding speculations that are crazy.

I totally suspect the Apple marketing team to browse the forum here and piss themselves laughing at some of the speculations about what an edge here or a corner there might mean.

Nice catch! This should have its own thread. It's a shame they don't show the face. However I doubt they did this without being under full control of Apple and therefore shows only as much as Apple wanted us to see.

Edit to correct: if you drill further into this site they do show the front of the iPhone and it has a white face.
