I’m sorry, but you can’t be serious. You’re comparing IR radiated by your body with concentrated points of IR light beamed at your face?Nice and vague, are they doctors? I doubt they are, as infrared is even radiated by your own body. It's good to be critical, but saying "I have medical people in my family THUS we were concerned" is trying to use the 'authority argument'.
Do you understand the difference between diffuse light and a laser? The difference between looking at a light bulb and looking at a laser pointer? The difference between daylight and laser beams?
