Amazing news for a company that started off in a garage.

My point exactly. Profits are increasing every year which for shareholders is great, but for the end users who are having to fork out more and more to get the same products year on year are getting shafted.can someone explain to me why this is something to celebrate? how is this good for us, consumers?
I'm a stock holder do I celebrate
In light of recent attacks on Silicon Valley, this is good news. Like it or not, technology from all corners of the world are the future of humanity. If we do not embrace the ones that at least try to make the world better, we are not doing our jobs as consumers or even humans. Money is just a means to an end so celebrating this milestone doesn't hold much weight for me but it's good to see a company that exposes good being rewarded for good business and good products.can someone explain to me why this is something to celebrate? how is this good for us, consumers?
What a RIDE for sure! I was asked if you could only buy one stock, which would it be? That was back in 2006 or so. I said Apple. Then I was asked, WHY? I said, they are coming out with some sort of "gadget" that looks pretty cool. Bought it in 2007 and still have it! What a GLORIOUS ride indeed!!!What a milestone. A company that was so close to dead. As a stockholder for the past decade, I've certainly enjoyed the ride.
'Vanity, definitely my favourite sin.'Purchased at $18. Never sold.
Purchased at $18. Never sold.
And yet, they nickel and dime us every step of the way...
Just think how much more marketshare they could have if the products were more affordable. With each generation of whatever product, it gets more expensive.
I guess greed has no boundaries.
Perhaps they will have a sale as a thank you to hundreds of millions of customers whosw money made this a reality for them.
Come on Apple give something back to those who made you what you are.
A nice gesture of good will to everyone on this historic day
Why not sell shares to get “free” Apple stuff? That’s what I used to do.I don't own any Apple stock, so I care more about Apple reducing the price of their products than becoming a "Trillion" dollar company.
It is good, because it means more Apple products for the world. People don't understand why this is a good thing, everybody does win in the end. People can wish ill on Apple all they want, and realize that if they go out of business, we wouldn't have anymore Apple products. Whats wrong with supporting a company that makes products you want to stick around and enjoy using? Remember Apple has to make money in order to keep making the products we love.can someone explain to me why this is something to celebrate? how is this good for us, consumers?
To everyone getting excited that Apple is a trillion dollar company now, remember the employees working multiple jobs, the coworkers skipping meals, the people skimping on healthcare because they can’t afford the “good coverage”, and the nets under the foxconn windows. But cool. Really happy for the shareholders.
It’s not money they actually have, it’s a figure for the sum value of the company’s sharesCan I have some?
Can I have some?
