I can't wait to see the "Offical Apple Online Store" say "We are updating our products right now. Please come back later." THEN THE NEW SIGN ON TOP OF THE IPHONE AN IPOD AND MAC PRO :D.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_0 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9A5313e Safari/7534.48.3)

Ok time to decrypt this whole invite.

Its quite simple, follow my lead.

4 Icons + 1 missed call notification icon = 5 (dont loose me)

Media event tagline "Let's talk iPhone" (still there?........ Stay awake!)

Conclusion? "Let's talk iPhone 5"

Wow there you have it people!

I still think there will be two phones. The green phone icon represents something that we already expect, an iPhone 4S. The next iteration of iPhone was certain or not really "new" (a new notification). So the "new" one is an iPhone 5 and the expected one is the iPhone 4S (or vice versa)

My Prediction:

-No Steve Jobs presenting (but it would be cool if they brought him in with a FaceTime call or more likely an iMessage conversation)
-Assistant feature debuts ("Let's Talk iPhone" hinting at this)
-Tim Cook talks very briefly (just the introduction and other small parts of the keynote- here and there)- mostly just the retail stores and profits summary
-The (1) could be hinting at the "One more thing..." ending

3 Ways I See the Keynote Going (assuming there is a "One more thing..."):
1. -iPhone 4S is announced
- Assistant feature debuts
- Talk about iOS 5
- Possibly White iPod Touch
One more thing... iPhone 5

2. -iPhone 4S (or iPhone 5) is announced
-Talk about iOS 5 (possibly Assistant feature)
One more thing... White iPod Touch + Minor iPods Refresh

3. -iPhone 4S (or iPhone 5) is announced
-Talk about iOS 5 (mostly just a summary of things already announced in June)
-Possibly Minor iPods Refresh
One more thing... Assistant Feature

Can't wait until Tuesday! :apple:

I don't agree with any of these but number 1. There is no way they are going to release an iPhone 5 and not have it be the ONE MORE THING. I just don't see them ending the keynote with some nonsense about Assistant or iPods. They'll end it strong and hard...and thick, veiny.

Haha, this. People are overanalyzing this invite too much.

Seriously. In a few more days this nerdfest will start coming to a close...only to restart over the iPad 3. I wonder if they'll go back to one year release cycles now that they've got their biggest hardware releasing for the holiday shopping season. Without the delays that probably means there won't ever be this much obsession or bickering between people on this board. The delay really has annoyed a bunch of people, but at least it's over.

Credit for Amazon, they were ready to take pre-orders on the Kindle Fire just a week before the big Apple event. Now everyone is talking about the Fire instead of iPads.

Along with the hardware announcements, I hope they gut iTunes like a fish. By introducing iCloud, Apple has a perfect opportunity to revamp iTunes - and it needs it. Remember back when it just did your music collection - how lean and mean it was? It's become this overly cluttered wasteland with some of the worst media management around. Please Apple, rethink iTunes and give us a new improved sleek and slick version. It's time.

iPhone 4 + Upgrade: "1" = phone 5.
Simple math;-)
You are assuming the new iPhone is an entire 1.0 update. It may only be a .3 or a .5 update, hence a 4S.

I hope they don't just copy the Zune application. That would be so amateurish.

So if you can now get a 7" tablet from Amazon for $199, what does that mean for the iPod Touch??

$229.00 - $299.00 - $399.00

The current version of the Touch are much more expensive than $199 and that is for only for a 3.5" screen. Will we see an iPod Touch for $149? Will this be the death of the iPod nano??

Not only an iPod Touch is much smaller screen but you can't watch Amazon Prime content!

No. Because there is still a large market for those types of players. I don't know the numbers so I can't say for sure, but the iPod Touches nor the nanos are leaving.

Great source to view announcements tomorrow

Apple Keynote
Looks promising :apple: Whether you care for an all new iPhone design or will be happy with an iPhone 4S, watch the announcements for yourself, enjoy!:D

Glad to see people are still confusing 'what they want to happen' with 'what is likely to happen'.

Never stop inferring ridiculous wish-fulfillment from a simple visual play on words whose meaning is obvious.

The little 1 next to the phone has red herring written all over it. Apple never go into that much detail about what they plan to discuss. It's not their style to tell everyone they only have 1 phone to talk about. Phone icon, I can buy that. Little 1 next to it? It's a trick.

I bet they announce the 4S or whatever it's called and just when people think that's it.. they'll throw in a 'But thats not all...' and announce iPhone 5.. but with a longer lead time than 4S. Gives Tim a chance to shine and whip up some good old Apple hype frenzy.
