Well my contract ends this month for my iPhone 5, I guess i have to wait to see on the day if there will be any delays with the 5.5" iPhone 6 model. As for the iWatch Meh i wait this one like when the iPad was first introduced to see how it sells on the market.

haha. you are right. At work on my ****** Dell monitor the shadows aren't clear.

At home on my iMac it is really obvious that its the top of the Apple logo. lol

It took me a while to figure it out. When that happens, I just back down and start to think simple, and then I was able to see it.

I was looking at the iphone 6 countdown and I noticed it was 6 hours and 6 days, so I waited until it was 6 days, 6 hours, 6 minutes, and 6 seconds and screenshotted it.

… About this Mac now specifically states that Yosemite is in Beta …

My guess: Apple will make the beta more easily available on, or soon after, next week's event. Maybe available from Apple without the feedback routine that's associated with the OS X Beta Program.

My 5 is on its last legs and I keep almost buying a 5s but have procrastinated just long enough that if it's just a few more weeks, I'm getting a 6! So, based on past years, what are your best guesses as to a time frame?

I vote NFC is not for payments. It's for location-aware iPhone unlocking. Wear a watch, unlocked, etc. NFC only requires one device for power. That means technically your iWatch can have the signature but not use ANY power. Just food for thought.

Do you mean because they are coming off their all time highs or do you mean that it went down today because an analyst stressed a HOLD rating that might be SELL if they don't show anything of substance? You can't use one day's share price movements for the overall direction of a company's share price....

Ah, the annual September keynote. Always so much hype and then so much disappointment from the forum afterwards.

Undoubtedly they will talk about iPhone 6, iOS 9, and Yosemite. I can't see them also talking about a whole new product category like a watch, which would need an event on its own.

Sorry if it has been mentioned but what time is the event ?
I am not in US but on the other end of the globe and want to watch the event.
I hope they also allow streaming to non apple devices. I have only iPhone at my disposal now (iPad with wife) and don't want to watch on iPhone.
