I would laugh if the "Wish we could tell more" had something to do with the leaks and they show a COMPLETELY different phone than all the leaks show.

Its unlikely, but that would be a complete mind fk for everyone here and it was just a game the whole time with leaking fake stuff to throw people off.

But the logo blatently shows the top of the apple zoomed pretty far in

AppleTV

I hope it's also going to include the rumored iTV (I was gonna say AppleTV, but that would get confusing). It's been rumored for a while and since Roku just announced their 55" TV with easy streaming, this would be Apple's prime chance to be in the light from the get-go with the TV…

Am I putting money on this thought? Hell no lol

I can't believe nobody (as far as I can tell) is picking up on this, but the invite says "Wish we could say more.", not "We wish we could say more."

That subtle shift in grammar makes a big difference to the meaning, and I'm sure that the people in charge of Apple's marketing know how to write proper English.

When one says "Wish we could say more." that's an imperative command telling you to make a wish.

The "We" is probably referring to all of us (Apple and its customers) and not just Apple.

I suspect that the phrase is referring to a voice-based feature. Perhaps it implies that Siri will become a lot more useful and that this rumored new wearable will be used primarily with a voice interface, much as Siri is now.

I think that the new feature allowing you to send voice recordings through iMessage will factor heavily into the messaging capabilities of an iWatch.

This makes sense to me!

Thank you for getting it! I was starting to think everyone else didn't know grammar. But yeah this is definitely it. It's a command - wish we could say more.

I would also guess this relates to a significantly improved Siri, including it being an 'always on' feature in both the iphone 6 and iwatch.

I'm gonna put it out there and guess that the iwatch will be powered soley by the M8 chip.

Can't wait!

okay
so the "wish we could say more" is probably about Siri (coming to Yosemite?). I'm also thinking it's about the iWatch being a mainly talk-to-use phone, considering no one has tiny enough hands to use a keyboard on a watch sized screen.

Also, not sure if this was said before, but the shadow is the same as a sundial set to 10 AM.
/code cracked?

Actually had you said it like that ("biggest new product launch of all time worldwide") I would not have posted originally. That statement is quite a bit different from "the biggest new product of all time worldwide".

I guess you just left out the word 'launch'. By adding that word I just might agree with you.

ah I had meant to say product launch, and that is what I thought I said. oops

I'd like to be really surprised and be shown a desktop mac that wasn't a mini or a pro but somewhere in between. they could call it the "Macintosh".........

If they announce a 5.5 inch iPhone does 1080p get a 2 day ban from the forum? Just cause y'know.

That may be a bit harsh :) also there's this recent report http://www.cultofmac.com/293178/apple-wont-introduce-5-5-inch-iphone-6-sept-9th-event/

Subvocalization Technology.

I seem to remember that Apple had been tinkering with Ender's Game-ish technology that allowed the user to "talk" without really making any audible words.

That article suggests they'll announce the 5.5 inch iPhone a month later, which I find hard to believe.

I was hoping that they announce them both at the September 9th event, i don't know if i will get the 5.5" but i would like the option, so that i can compare both models and decide after Apple have announced them together. I hope that article is wrong, i was just pointing out what it was saying tho.

I'm glad you did. I think we'll either see the 5.5 inch iPhone on the 9th, or not at all this year.

After all, if the production issues are true, waiting a month for the October event isn't going to make much difference.

That is true and waiting for the 5.5" would be ok if Apple were too announce it and say "available next month" because they have acknowledged that the product exists, however if they were too just announce the 4.7" and not even mention a 5.5", and then at an October event they suddenly said "and here we have a 5.5" iPhone 6" that would be annoying, because people (myself included) will have thought that the 5.5" wasn't coming, and therefore brought the 4.7" instead.

Exactly. I don't even mind if they don't start shipping them until November, just as long as they tell us.

I share many folks sentiments.. I hope they announce everything in the event .. I don't want to be stuck in the situation of buying the 4.7 but finding out about the 5.5 later .. Argghh

Google will have this for breakfast

All hail Google! No more over paying for yesteryears tech.. Get a one plus one!

"Wish we could say more" means everyone is already know everything about upcoming products, so nothing more to say..

shadow = 3D?

What if the strong shadow indicates 3D support?
The closeup apple looks like a lying 3 and the leaf like a cut D.
3D, got it? iPhone 3D.
What to say more?

Hmmm not very keen on 3d .. I want them to announce all they have on their sleeves at this event !!!

Wish we could tell you more...

More than.....

Apple gives the date and time of the event in the invitation.

Apple wishes they could tell us more than just the time and date!

A regular watch tells us what time and date it is. That is about the only info a regular watch can display.

It is about a watch(iwatch!) that gives us more information than just the time and date.

Great riddle!

Iwatch presentation is coming!

I have a feeling Apple will have some world changing announcements. Remember all the stuff that's been in the pipeline for several months? We're gonna get to see a lot of that here. This promises to be one of the most memorable days ever. And I'll definitely be booking the day off work to be part of the experience.
