I have a feeling Apple will have some world changing announcements. Remember all the stuff that's been in the pipeline for several months? We're gonna get to see a lot of that here. This promises to be one of the most memorable days ever. And I'll definitely be booking the day off work to be part of the experience.

Stuff in the pipeline for several months? we don't know whats been in the pipeline. September 9th will be a great event, but i think its just going to be the iPhone 6 (possibly 2 screen sizes) and the iWatch announced (but not available until next year) that's going to be announced. iPad's and new Mac's will probably be in the October/November keynote. The reason i can't see Apple announcing iPad's and everything else in the September 9th event, is simply time, they will not have enough time to do so.

Thank you for getting it! I was starting to think everyone else didn't know grammar. But yeah this is definitely it. It's a command - wish we could say more.

I would also guess this relates to a significantly improved Siri, including it being an 'always on' feature in both the iphone 6 and iwatch.

I'm gonna put it out there and guess that the iwatch will be powered soley by the M8 chip.

Can't wait!
Although it can be a command, the phrasing that is being used isn't usually attributed to a command, so much less likely for it to be that.

Wish we could tell you more...

More than.....

Apple gives the date and time of the event in the invitation.

Apple wishes they could tell us more than just the time and date!

A regular watch tells us what time and date it is. That is about the only info a regular watch can display.

It is about a watch(iwatch!) that gives us more information than just the time and date.

Great riddle!

Iwatch presentation is coming!
OMG!!!!
Good one man!

Will there be a live streaming ?

Because I've cumulated enough hours at the office to take a day off :D

There probably will be, they streamed it last year. Also they seem to be going out of their way this year to ensure a lot of media are there, by holding the event at the Flint Centre and building that white building out front.

Did they stream the iPhone announcement last year?

Yes, i remember watching it. for the last couple of years they have streamed most of their keynotes. A couple of hours before the event, they usually put an app up on the Apple TV, so that you can watch it there, and they usually stream it on their own website as well.

They have never streamed an iPhone event. I believe they streamed the iPad but never the iPhone. Those were available online after the event or by watching a live blog.

They streamed last years, I remember watching it 6PM UK time, the app went live on the Apple TV a couple of hours before.

Borrowing this from 1080p:

Apple has been very inconsistent with streaming their events.

WWDC 2014 - Streamed
iPad Oct 2013 Event - Streamed
iPhone Sept 2013 Event - NOT Streamed
WWDC 2013 - Streamed
iPad Oct 2012 Event - Streamed
iPhone Sept 2012 Event - NOT Streamed
iPad March 2012 Event - NOT Streamed
iPhone Oct 2011 Event - NOT Streamed
iPhone June 2010 Event - NOT Streamed

And every iPhone event before it... NOT STREAMED. I am going to make another declaration. The iPhone 2014 event WILL NOT be streamed. ;):apple:

Yea i was wrong sorry, i Googled it and found that they did not live stream last years iPhone event. I must of watched the CNET live blog, altho i do remember the app being on the Apple TV, must of been a couple of hours later.

ok... so i was reminiscing on what happened at the last iphone event, and i think i have a rough schedule of what is going to happen at the Sept. 9th event:

-Tim enters and begins by talking about various things, like the iTunes Festival, how many apps and songs have been sold, how he appreciates the devs, etc. Then he starts taking about OS X Yosemite and thus he brings up Craig Federighi to talk about OS X Yosemite. After he's done, Tim comes back and talks about iOS 8. He then brings Craig Federighi back up and talks more about iOS 8. Finally, once he's done, Tim comes back and begins talking about the iPhone. Finally he then introduces the iPhone 6.
-Video showing iPhone six plays.
-After video is done, Tim comes back and talks about it. After he is done talking about it, he brings up Phil Schiller to talk more about all the new features of the phones. (Price and release details are announced, too). Tim comes back and talks about and announces the iWatch .
-Video showing iWatch plays.
-Tim comes back and talks more about iWatch, then brings up *someone* to talk about it. (price and release details are announces, too) Finally, after their done talking about it Tim comes back on stage.

Now here's a part that may or may not happen... If you think it will, read on, if not, skip ahead to the end.

-Tim then announces a refresh to the iPod line, showing off the iPod Touch and iPod Nano.
-Video plays showing off new iPods
-Tim comes back and talks more about the new iPods. Then he brings up Greg Joswiak to talk more about the iPods.

ENDING:
-Tim comes back on stage and talks one last time about all the new products. Finally, Tim then concludes with (i'm not sure really, because with the iPhone 5, he brought the Foo Fighters on stage to play a few songs, and with the 5S and 5C he brought up Elvis Costello and he sang some songs, so most likely it will be some musician/band).

Thats what I think will happen at the event, and would love to hear feedback on it! This took me awhile to think up as well as write. :D

I think your right, except for the iWatch section, i think they will announce it in the same way they did with the Mac Pro, i don't think they will announce price tho or even an exact release date. Unless i'm wrong and the iWatch is ready to go on sale, in which case they will announce price and release date.

No problem. I really hope they do stream it, just not too hopeful. I also watched the CNET live blog (along with a couple others). If they don't stream it I guess I'll just do the same again.

you are probably right, thanks for the feedback!

Yes. My university just went there...

The gray pattern in the background is actually a closeup of the Apple logo. There's a darker gray shade to the SE side of the leave on top of the apple.

haha. you are right. At work on my ****** Dell monitor the shadows aren't clear.

At home on my iMac it is really obvious that its the top of the Apple logo. lol
