The ban is going to court and it looks like the judges will consider all the comments he and his staff made about banning muslims. Courts consider intent as well as the order itself, and his many comments sure look like intent.
Clinton did win the popular vote by three million. The pollster's mistake was being careless in the individual states. Also, predicting an election requires trying to predict likely voters. Approval rating is just a poll of all citizens.

Got to keep this snake oil pouring out of the White House to keep the Trump supporters drunk and placated and Donald's business partners in Dubai building his golf courses. We can all sleep soundly at night knowing the president has only the security of the country in mind by trying to stop travel from only the countries that have attacked other regions in the Middle East. Just keep your fingers in your ears and repeat "la la la" and you will be fine. What you don't hear won't kill you.
Meanwhile at least the companies on this list have enough experience with selling a product to know empty marketing speak when it appears.

The vast majority of protesters have been peaceful, and at UCB the violent ones were visibly a separate group from the protestors. There have been a number of violent and destructive supporters of the president, you want us all to assume they are all violent because of that minority?
The University actually allowed the student sanctioned event and also allowed peaceful protests. They didn't limit free speech the other rioters who showed up did. Campus police don't have the power to stop a riot. The only reason it got shut down was for individuals safety.
I'm sure more women came forward about rape in 2000 than in 1980.

Beyond tha California was not a state yet, the framers need to get the South to agree to the Constitution; Southerners realized the North, with its population advantage would have more say in electing the President. Thus the framers compromised and established the electoral college and also included slaves as part of a person to give the South greater sway in the election. The slaves percentage gave the South the edge and resulted in many of our first presidents being form the South, specifically a white slave owning Virginian.

They try to silence Conservative thought by imposing a ridiculous security fee at the last minute then restrict the campus police from stopping the riots. Wake up. It's been going on for a while.
