Why is the Hermes face not available for free? The "Hermes" Watch is ridiculous. It is a normal Watch with the Hermes strap + Hermes face + ridiculous price.

I did and called Apple support. It didn't work at first but it does now. On my watch at least. Try again.. maybe there was a delay due to everyone trying to update their faces.

The watch face looks really cool.

The band is complemented by the Unity Lights watch face, which is designed using 2D ray tracing, a technology never before implemented for a watch face. Each pixel on the screen simulates the light and shadow falling across it and the movement of the clock hands simultaneously reveal and hide the light, changing dynamically throughout the day.

Is this 2D ray tracing real time? Or do they mean this was all pre-rendered with ray tracing?

I remember when the first Apple Watch came out and thought how cool it will be to see all the watch faces developers come up with...still waiting on that Watch Face SDK. I get it though. Watch Faces are like the emoji's of a new iOS release. They want us to pay to upgrade and a lot of us really want that shiny new face. Still annoying.

I also wonder it has anything to do with preventing Rolex and other big brands from having their faces copied and dealing with legal issues.

I'm trying to charge my new AW7 45mm every two days, so I was on my 2nd day. This might be a stupid question but because of the animation effect the watchface has, is it possible that it reduces the battery life? After 2-3 hours of installation I received low battery warning, but maybe it was already low.
(I'm switching off at night)
