Does anyone know the answer to this:

  • Let's say I'm getting a family member an Apple Watch for Xmas and so theyre eligible for the 3 month free (and so will everyone else via Family Sharing) - if I decide to buy a month of Fitness+ between now and Xmas, would the 3 month free be valid still?

So how does one claim the three-month trial? Bought an Apple Watch Series 6 on the day it came out. New iPhone 12 Pro Max. Just wants to give me a one month's trial. Or is the three-month trial limited to the US?
3 month option was present for me here in the UK

I don’t have a Apple Watch and was expecting it to be offered on the iPhone but I guess not?
I have an Apple Watch, so I'm fine, but agreed - that's the ONLY way you can use it? That seems really odd. I get it, the watch gives you more data, etc. But c'mon - maybe some just want to workout and get more active without the extra info?

Does anyone know how to share the subscription, even the free 1 month trial, with family sharing? I cant see it under my wife's apple ID

The 3 month trial for watches is definitely broken. No one should redeem the 1 month they’re being offered, Apple will screw you out of the 3 month trial if you do.

This is a mess. Also doesn’t work on iPad like they advertised. No App Store entry either.

I was able to start 3 month trial on my Apple TV, which was first of my items to complete update. Fitness Plus is showing as middle tab in in Fitness app on phone, so all set there.

But, nothing on iPad. I checked App Store, no app there either.

I get fitness+ through my Apple One membership. it’s working fine on my iPhone, but not showing up on my iPad pro. Tried restarting the device, and found the direct AppStore link which, when clicked, says “this app requires specific features not available on this device,” but the details say the app is compatible with my 2019 iPad Pro. Weird.
